http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Princess_Pa...t_Infantry Ah, but what is coming down the pipe? I think the current king is going to make a few...changes.

Please do not insult the name of an honoured infantry regiment. First of all, it was named after royalty, which is not silly at all. Second, its members shed a lot of blood to preserve you in freedom. Please respect that.

Knock that off! There's no excuse for giving up now. Sure as Plako is ahead, you've got the guns and gold to do something about it. Do NOT go quietly into the night.
Hey, take a lesson from the Zulu. Um. I just turned on research 100%.

Are all the cities you settled for that sea-quest thing helping or hurting?

So.
...and what else? Oh, murdered a poor reporter ship with my piratical scout.
The other was about as expected, traded frigates to rid myself of Pin's Callum scout.
He's down there somewhere... sneaking.
I've lost far too many frigates of late, but I'm still with a healthy number, and I'm about to make another wave or nine. Healthy swarm of rifles are building up too...plus, if I can get a few more good fights in, I'm due another general, who will promptly become an admiral.
Let's try not to totally waste those rifles. Dismayingly close odds on this one, but it's a city I can actually keep with the three dozen extra knights off freezing the the Antarctic.
Domestics to come later...

I'm sorry, the post was badly done.
No insult was intended. The word silly was used to refer to the names of Commodore's units, which are made by hammers in a video game. The regiment in question came to mind because of it's professionalism and storied history, as well as personal familiarity.

S'okay. I guess I just didn't understand what the link was for then (I can be kind of dense at times). Sorry I misunderstood.

Sadly-neglected domestics, in a few random shots. You asked about the SeaQuest Cities; they're coming along nicely but that's not the same thing as being worthwhile now. In the south Pacific, Slowcheetah is being really, really weird (or else, like the honey badger, Slowcheetah doesn't give a shit). My cities are all growing into some infra, nice enough, and good and Taoist. I think I'm going to specialize the two on Big Island; Lookout is hammers, Bella is coins.
Taoist, speaking of...the Hindu shrine will be nice and all, but the Taoist shrine is raking in 42 base gpt, making it a nice second place. Serdoa, now, is getting much, much more...
The "other Buddhist" nation, Portugal, is frankly mystifying to me. Tiny, tiny little place, but armed to the teeth and not worth the eating. Xenu must be going mad with boredom, moving his little scouts around and lusting after potential Indian scraps. Frigates make that a fool's errand, though, unless he's willing to risk a hell of a mighty swarm. Better to have lived and be a disappointment, but still be warring, than this poor twilight existence...
Frigates are still the primary domestic product of Generica; I'm being needlessly OCD and popping out a few barays to get food neutral in places like Poplar Point here. I'm going to close borders in a bit, nice as these routes are domestics are 3gpt anyway. Krill is right; next game, a focus of mine will be better vertical growth, this city needs to be size 16...
One place will mourn the loss of trade routes, though. Lakeside Garden; still the jewel of the empire. I'm getting a GP next turn; I wonder if I should just launch a GA with the prophet and this scientist. Anyway, tremble in awe at my cap, etc, etc. My kingdom for a levee.

So I was going to update about the war, but then Slow played another five minute turn while I was playing and showed he wants to hasten the concession.
