New turn already and Commodore's moved. Here's the situation:

I think the south frigate group with our surviving knights and GG needs to go to the green tile this turn. No time to pillage the fish yet; from the green tile they can unload inside of Jamba Juice next turn.

The north group I'm not so sure about. They can also meet up with the group on the green tile, but that puts them out of range for that "surprise" we were talking about. Purple tile would work for the surprise, but we wouldn't get to "share the benefits" with as many units. Purple tile would also be out of sight, so it may drop his guard. Yellow tile is if we pillage the clams, but then we are still in range and he can see us.

From Commodore, he is moving 2 more frigates into the theatre. They are sitting on the fort tile NE of our former capital, guarded by 1 rifle and 1 musket. There is a new rifle in our former capital, but not the same as last turn.

I think I'm leaning towards a combination of pillaging and moving the galleon away for the north.

There is also the option of being patient with our surprise. EP vision shows another possible destination. West of the ruins of the Songbird.

Well I think we should focus on containing his navy and keeping the channel clear for as long as possible. Everything else is secondary to that.

What's the % tile culture in our former cities?

By the way, how much EP do we have on Commodore? Any chance we can steal a tech from him?

Controlling the seas means we have to watch 3 key lanes:
1) Fort passage through the old city of White Castle
2) Fort passage through the old zulu capital
3) Southern coast of Commodore
3b) Ships currently in port at Swallowsdale/Demon Front and Callum's/Island of Sins

So for this turn how about:

South group
Everything to green tile so galleons can get away

North group
1 frigate and 1 galleon to purple tile (his Nav-1 galleons can hit that tile still so we need a frigate there)
4 frigates pillage clam and watch the north passage.

Also, since he took peace with slowcheetah we need to watch out for GG shenanigans frown

Okay, a pretty nice development at home.

I didn't notice before but Commodore retreated the two rifles back. If he moves them into Domino's next turn then I think we attack with everything next turn. Forces available would be:

12 catapults (9 - 5xp, 2 - 3xp) -- City Raider or Bombard a better choice against his forces?
12 muskets (3 - C2, 1 - C1, 2 - 5xp unpromoted)
8 knights (varying between c2 and pinch)
9 maces (some CR, some combat)
7 pikes (c1 or c2)
1 chariot

Plus 3 more wounded knights in our galleon group, and our wounded GG. But I don't think they would be healed enough to participate next turn. I do have one of the galleons as a medic, so that should help, and I am promoting all the wounded survivors this turn along the pinch line.

And then would be going up against:

9 rifles
3 muskets
3 knights
2 longbow
1 pike

Wait, how did he get more units in there?

Oh, that sneaky... When he gifted Xenu OUR city, he cut open borders. And where did those units teleport? To our island, and he moved them into Domino's. That sneaky little jerk, doubly so for selling xenu OUR CITY.

Answers to my questions please...

Barrage on the catapults, we won't be doing much damage to the primary defender (rifleman) whereas the collateral damage is closer to guaranteed.

Ok, I knew I posted that but I can't find it, so I'll just repost it here:

EP

1497 (us) vs. 1290 (Comm)
I've been using the slider. Really, gold & EP are the only things that are beneficial, I think. 20+ turns for a tech is ridiculous and I think the only reason we've gotta an edge in the seas is because I've been able to 2-pop whip caravels and upgrade them to frigates.

% Culture Cities

Long John Silver / Cairn of Devils - 36%
White Castle / Stones of Trial - 10%
Zaxby's / Ashes of Hell - 0%

Everything else doesn't even show Zulu on the tooltip

And since I jumped in game, what do you think about this as a plan-B for our surprise, Noble?

Played the turn. Wow, we're still alive at t235. Go us smile

If we choose to attack, here are the forces we have in place that can hit Domino's next turn:

Of the catapults, 9 of them have 5xp, 2 of them have 3xp, and 1 has no exp.
Also there is a knight being made out of Taco Bell that will be able to reach.

They will be going up against:

Do we have enough?
