Well, I had to reoffer it to CF, but we made the deal and I'm beginning to upgrade catapults to cannons. And it's getting time to go kill Jowy. need a few more grenadiers and some cannons and away we go!!

I didn't grab screenies, but I have oxford in 12 and Globe in 10. I'm starting to build IW in Man From Uncle, which is the best hammer city I have - it can get a levee, plus it has multiple food sources and horses, plus a bunch of hills - it's basically great.

something wierd in CivStats:



note that Jowy had an increase and 2metra a decrease in score, then cornflakes had an increase and jowy a decrease.

I suspect that what happened is 2metra sold jowy a city and cornflakes attacked jowy, but I'm not sure.

so, I guess I had to replay my turn. I hope I did it right - I think 2metra sold a city to jowy who sold it to cornflakes. No one is at war. I sold Mil Science to 2metra for 900 gold,so I did a lot of cannon upgrading in anticipation of putting a hurting on Jowy. of course, I'm also building globe and oxford, so maybe it's not the best time to go kill jowy, but I should - I have mil superiority, after all.

Somehow, when I wasn't looking, cornflakes dumped over 1400 EP on me. FOURTEEN HUNDRED!!! I have 89 on 2metra, and that's it.

Is cornflakes putting EP on anyone else? I certainly can't hide anything from him - my guess is that he can see into most of my cities right now. How the hell did he do that? and WHY??

Now, Jowy's power has been flat for some time, but I went ahead an upgraded a pike to a grenadier, anyway, plus am moving some units over. it won't help if he has the ability to take that city right now, which he might - he can build knights - but if he attacks, I will kill him. course, if he doesn't attack, the plan is to kill him, anyway.

Power ratings



My forces around Man From Uncle - he's either bluffing or he has enough forces to take it - I'm guessing bluffing - last time I had eyes on Eden prime, it was heavy with long bows. I'm building a spy to get better intel, and the xbows will be for grenadier upgrades.

btw - note that that road was built by TT/BIGGER, not Jowy. What the hell is up with that?



Units I'm pulling in - I included the LB in BJ and the bear, which I can use in operations around citadel if I want.

I'll have something like 8 grenadiers, 10 knights, 6 cannons, 3 maces and a ton of LB to attack jowy with, with more coming all the time.

Jowy is down chemistry, steel and mil science, but he does have gunpowder and thus muskets.

What I know about Jowy:

he has 92K soldiers from tech (Sailing, Hunting, Mining, AH, Wheel, Alpha, Metal Casting, Construction, math, Archery, Guilds, BW, Machinery, HBR , IW and Gunpowder)
he has 28K from pop (at least, based on the last known data from the map I have)
I figure he has something like 3 forges, 3 rax and 2 stables - along with HE and Soz, which is 31K soldiers. Maybe it's 40K, it's not that important.
based on what I see now and have seen and at least 1 LB per city, he has
5 maces
1 Elephant
20 LB
5 pikes

for 203K soldiers

That totals is 354K soldiers. His soldier count is 424K, so I'm missing 70K soldiers, which is about 8 maces or 7 muskets or knights, which is significant.

Checking in, I noticed that

A) cornflakes has 1549 EP on me and is moving a stack of muskets and cannons up
B) cornflakes declared war on 2metra
C) Bigger did a bunch of whips, as did Jowy.

Cornflakes now has 1604 EP on me - I think he has visibility on most of my cities and I'm currently pretty worried about an attack, so I'm switching Quincy, Swat and MASH to military (well, MASH once it finishes it's bank)

V is building Parthenon and will switch to mil after that.
ATeam and NCIS are building OXford and Globe, respectively, and will switch to mil after that.
