That sounds like how I'm playing! Only level 70 and not yet killed the 2nd boss but i've unlocked the 'secret' class

Edit: Killed the 2nd boss on my next try. I was a barbarian with the bouncy spikes. Normally I hate that weapon, but I had enough MP that I could cast it multiple times and clear lots of enemies.

I just had a hilarious run with a near-sighted spell reversed dragon. The other choices had traits that irritated me, and so I picked that without thinking too much. I didn't realize how the traits would work until I started playing. He found the 3rd boss pretty easy!

1. Hokage
2. Barb King
3. Paladin

I'm also going about this in the completely wrong way, not only do I shun the magical classes, but I also rarely ever use my magic spell and forget that I have special class abilities (I've used the hokage teleport once in actual combat i think).

But I have triple jump and double sideways dash and all vampiric stuff on my Hokage build and I kill everything. I killed the 2nd boss on my first try without going in knowing anything, but i'm struggling to go through the tower at the moment.

Same here. Why press multiple buttons when I can just hit things with my sword.

I've got to admit that some spells are very nice though, flameshield for example. Turn it on, and if you have the mana you can kill a full room or mini-bosses easily. I also think the crow storm and timestop are pretty useful.

Yeah, the few times I've used the spells they've been quite useful. I used those bouncing spiky balls on the second boss and they definitely helped. I just can't get out of the BURN! FIGHT! KILL! mentality long enough to use them most of the time.

See, with the second boss,

I don't get how he's supposed to be very hard. He and all those little minions he spawns all only shoot their balls of death in the 4 cardinal directions. All you had to do is to hit him while he's chilling, and when he's about to fire go up and diagonal of him, and you're in no danger at all. I only got hit by something once, and that was one of the little skulls below me i forgot about. Compared to the first boss shooting tons more projectiles in a much smaller room, it was a piece of cake.

The little spiky balls didn't win the fight they just shortened the war considerably. I actually found the first boss much easier. The projectiles were always in one set pattern, and after getting hit a time or two due to some inadequate jumping while Mr Eyeball was catherine wheeling, I took the sucker down with few problems. The more randomly moving heads caused me a much larger headache.
