[SPOILERS] Welcome to the Kuro Corporation! (Kuro and BaII)

Priesthood is in!

Sam Walton could 2-pop whip it's Settler, so it did so: it will head to the crab city on the basis of "I can't get a Galley out too quickly without some decent sized issues, so I'll make it the next Settler". The worker there also began chopping the last forest, which will go into a Monument. Speaking of that, John Dodge's workers chopped out the Monument there, so it'll be able to grab that Wheat. We have 2T of 100% research left and 4T to go at Writing @ 100%, so probably 6T-7T total...although if we get to capture that barb city, we can probably 100% power our way through Writing, which would be fantastic. In addition, things like regrowth might decrease it to 3T @ 100%.

No images for now: I was going to bed (Yes, at 6 AM...I got distracted by Doctor Who) and saw the turn had been played, so I just did it fairly quick (Fortunately, there were almost no descisions to be made!)

Mhm I think we can settle that island city and use it as a stopping point for the barb city. We might have to prioritize some navy to help protect everything.

We've got a 2-fer update today!

First off: Boldly Going Nowhere just got the Pyramids in addition to their Stonehenge. Strong combination, probably have Stone. John Dodge's Monument completes, the Workers will begin roading their way to our new crab city (After that is island city).

And these borders our Galley just found might explain why.

After that was EOT and a Granary finishing up in the capital. Gonna put a single hammer into a Galley for whipping (Because can't grow while Settler/Worker, after all). Actually, might just build it for a bit to get more overflow when it is whipped and decide what to get. And then I saw something that made my heart jump...in a good way.

Sometimes it is better to be lucky than good! New tech plan: We're heading for Monotheism before Code of Laws so we can go Organized Religion and build Missionaries out of C. Vanderbilt. They're even 40 hammers, which should make them great for 2-pop whipping and getting good overflow! Vanderbilt will NOT whip the Granary, I think, due to when it builds + the food box (It'll finish 1T after growth to fill up the Granary fast).

And we are some very. Lucky. Campers.

3 Warriors. Our 2 Axes should be more than enough to handle them @ high odds and our Combat I Shock axe can come down in 6T if they get knocked into the red to finish them off. Magnifique.

Also, as you can see, we're not last in score. Whoo.

Monument will be done EOT in Sam Walton due to the chop. It'll overflow into a Worker and might build Workers for a while (We only have 4 Workers for 5 cities, which is frankly unacceptable! When the anger is down I might double-whip an Axe into a Worker, though...). Until we need the island Settler, anyway. I'd like to time it so we can 2-pop whip the capital for an Axe after the Galley and Sam Walton can 2-pop whip the Settler so that it goes out escorted and has city protection upon foundation.

And here are Graphs:

GNP:

Production:

Crop Yield:

Power:

And, of course, Demographics. Who only has 15 GNP...?

Do we even want CoL right now? Since we got lucky with religion spread, we can jst use Hinduism unless u want the shrine.

I was considering that. Since we're running binary, I was thinking we 100% gold while on Code of Laws, if the religion is there we go for it (Since having your own religion offers multiple benefits, especially if we can pull out a prophet via double-Temples), if it isn't then we switch to Monarchy and, since we were going 100% gold, lose pretty much nothing.

Playin' turn.

The luck just keeps-a-comin'! Thanks for moving the Warriors out, barbs!

I renamed the barbarian city, Sakae, to Chevrolet. Not the man, the company, due to the early history of the company (Louis Chevrolet sold it before it became big).

Obviously, we took the city (Which gives us enough cash to power through Writing and Monotheism @ 100%). Part of why CoL might be worth going for is this: 4 GPT maintanence and giving the number of cities maintanence a boost, plus we want the Forbidden Palace here soon. But Monarchy is probably more important.

I realized that, with the Galley coming over, we could probably whip out an Axe from Standard Oil (overflow into w/e, probably a Library) and a Settler from Walton (Overflow into Worker -> 1T of Growth -> Settler until 2-pop whip) to get the island city. I am going to go for it. If we can nab it, our useful cities will have gone up greatly in a short amount of time. After that, whipped axes and such can be sent there periodically for happiness and to stuff it full of defense. Will also send a Spear soon-ish to prevent him from just punking it with some Chariots.

No funny Graphs, just Demos. Our land area will show up some when Chevrolet comes out of revolt and Sam Walton/Vanderbilt/John Dodge pop their borders. Workers by John Dodge will chop out a Work Boat for the new city, then swing on by for when the borders expand to grab Wheat, BTW.

Oh, right, and SOMEONE just got a Great General, so there is some war going on, but we have no way of telling who or where (Aside from being able to tell it is not BoldXenuBrick vs. WilliamLP). Oh well, let them bloody each others noses and fall behind!

Bit of a short update today. Likely to have shorter ones until the 18th or so. Tad busy, albeit not too much to turnplay.

Looks like we got there JUST in time. The barb city, I mean. That Shock I Axe on a hill should have good odds to win. Research set to Monotheism. Capital switched to Axe in preparation of whipping. Open Borders offered to BoldXenuBrick because, hey, why not? It's not like we block them anywhere. Oh, and Sam Walton's Worker is building a Farm there to help give some growth + Production when Monarchy rolls around, then will build Roads until Walton's border expands.

That is pretty much it.

Confucianism was just FIADL, so that made our descision easy! Skip Code of Laws for now, go for Monarchy, then decide where we want to go (Possibly Code of Laws after Monarchy for Courthouses or, more likely, Currency for Markets (Since binary makes Markets more useful I believe, yes), TRs and a 20% beaker discount on CoL (It does that, doesn't it?)

When Chevrolet comes out of revolt, it will build a Monument (No way we get a Missionary over there for a while!) until Size 4, then whip out a Worker and overflow into the Monument. Standard Oil also 2-pop whipped it's Axe: I am not sure what to overflow it into, but I am considering a Scout to scout out WilliamLP's land, a Library (What I will probably go with) or a Work Boat (MORE FOOD).

For Lurker's sake: At 0% Science, we make 17 GPT: At 100% Science, we produce 34 beakers per turn. This uses post-whip figures (And before Chevrolet comes out of revolt or the Crabs/Copper being founded).

We have Tyrants Boldly Bricking graphs! Time to post everything ever.

Score:

(Included for posterity's sake)

GNP:

(The drop is almost certainly because of their whipping. I love how our Graphs perfectly touch in one spot.)

Production:

(We're just not a production powerhouse. For now.)

Crop Yield:

(This might look bad, since we're behind...but we are keeping up with them in Crop Yield despite being LAST in Population! When we can actually grow our cities up some, we should be sitting pretty food-wise)

Power:

(Middle of the road. I wonder if that power dip is losung a unit to barbs or just whipping.)

And finally, the usual, the Demographics.

I ended up going with "None of the above" for the capital, as I saw that it could build a 2T Worker via overflow! I desperately need Workers (If there is one area I feel I have been playing poorly, it is that I need more Workers, I only have 4 but just quickly increased my city count from 5 to 7!), so this will help. John Dodge also just whipped a Lighthouse and could overflow it into a Worker as well, or possibly Moai (but unlikely).

And then something that made me literally go "Oh, no way!"

That's right, the Barbarian Worker that fled moved right next to my Axe! Even if it put me next to the barb axe, there is no way I could pass up a FREE Worker. Assuming that the Axe survives or is not attacked, it will escort the Worker to Chevrolet, where it can help improve all of the things. Aaaaaaaall of them!

BoldXenuBrick shows a significant dip in, well, everything and a small drip in Power when looking at the Graphs. I am not sure if it just those 3 whips from 2 turns ago or if something, maybe barbs or a war?, is causing them issues. Also, they revolted to Representation last turn. (Maybe it was just the Graph doing stupid revolt things...)

I founded the Crab City, which I decided to name Horace Dodge instead of the Fish/Furs. It's so close to John that I felt it only appropriate to name them as brothers. It will be getting out a Work Boat via help from chops and will wait for Hinduism for something to expand borders with.

Demos are looking slightly up: We are no longer last in production, for example. I wonder what will happen when the 3 pop of Chevrolet come out of revolt...
