Great, thanks for having me smile.

Well, let's wait for the response of suttree and Kyan and give it a go. I guess I'll have to give up Qgqqqqq and let him make the map cry
If he still wants

By restricted leaders, I mean that Cardith Lorda can only be a Kuriotate; not sure if that's what Yell0w meant by it.

Yes I ment unrestricted leaders where you could pick Volanna of the Kuriotate. I'm fine by the other suggestion which was to pick from the "losers list" or being able to pick restricted leaders (where Cardith Lorda can only be a Kuriotate).

What sort of a map were you wanting? (Sorry if this has been said, its been a while)
I'd prefer not to need any large amount of balancing, and would recommend an adapted Torusland.

I e-mailed Kyan, he says he's no longer interested. Do we want to go with four, or keep waiting for a fifth?

I'm ok with Torusland.

I might be interested, if XXV is as close to finished as I think it is.

I'd prefer not to play with unrestricted leaders, though. Other settings... Orthus on? (I'm fine with it, just surprised.)

Okay since Kyan backed out I'll post something about preferences...
* EitB 0009
* Quick
* Emperor or Monarch
* Ancient start
* Starting units - Default. Starting shade is acceptable, but better to just do a blitz session to get the first 10-ish turns underway. If we get 1-2 turns every day after that we'll get to the interesting parts soon enough
* Wildlands off.
* Living World off is preferred, but no big issue.
* Orthus off preferred, but no major issue.
* No Acheron at all.
* Normal barbs
* PICKS - I prefer assigned by lurkers. Since I'm only one, next preference is from 'loser' list.
* No Vassals
* No Tech Trading
* No stasis
* No diplo, and I'd like to bring up possibility of Always war. Any takers?
* Huts OFF
* Lairs OFF, not even protected with various held units. Epic lairs might have had very strong defenders, but why give more advantage to the runaway who manages to clear them out? Well, it might turn out okay but it certainly might turn out badly and wreck the fun for some poor civ. Again.
* Basium & Hyborem - No strong feelings. Human takeover on both is okay by me. Would no diplo extend to Basium/Human? In that case it perhaps wouldn't be too overpowered. AI Basium could lead to silliness and make the whole thing useless.
* Something to make ToM victory a more challenging to reach - make it require some other expensive tech as a prerequisite
Played: FFH PBEM XXVI (Rhoanna) FFH PBEM XXV (Shekinah) FFH PBEM XXX (Flauros) Pitboss 11 (Kublai Rome)
Playing:Pitboss 18 (Ghengis Portugal) PBEM 60 - AI start (Napoleon Inca)

ToM often requires Omnescience in variants.
I will be away from civ for the next week, so I'll start after that (presuming everythings settled by then) and have it in maybe 2 weeks.

My preferences:

Eitb or standard FFH, no preference.
Quick
Difficulty: No preference.
Ancient Start
Starting Shade
Wildlands: No preference
Living World: On.
Huts: On
Lairs: On (lair guardians are fine).
Orthus: No preference.
Acheron: Off or preplaced.
Raging barbarians: No preference.
Leaders: I'm fine with anything, but don't want to play unrestricted leaders. If we pick from the loser's list, do we want to ban the picks taken in XXIX?
Vassals, Tech trading off.
Bans: Keelyn, Volanna (already taken care of if we're picking losers)
Compact Enforced: No, but maybe disable human takeover unless we can find someone in advance.
Diplo: Vote against AW. I'm fine with no diplo, being involved in two diplo games already.
ToM requires omniscience: No preference.

Who's playing in this game? I haven't been following the thread.
