So, Narrator did you make an error in counting Doctor Saul's vote?
A simple check shows

That looks like a mistake from Doctor Saul's messed up vote for "Sister Anne" earlier, that should be removed.

It's ok Lady E. Know-Nothing J cannot start his day without putting me in a suspicious light. I am starting to wonder why he feels the need to keep bringing me up every day for even small silly things like this.
I said already I made myself follow along even though I was embarassed. I voted Sister Anne on my break at work, so instead of spending my other breaks digging I try to calm down but still make myself read and follow along and look. Maybe I cannot read all day, but that does not mean I am not trying and voting when I have the time. After work I was at the store, waiting in line and finished reading up on the duel, and made my vote of the duel then because that did not need re-reading a day and a half of posts to decide on. When I got home I did re-read and found i did not like Kate's switch to Muriel. I still do not like it and i do not like how she felt the need to recap the entire case everyone has ever made on Muriel and also said repeatedly that Muriel could be town. Like she knows how Muriel will flip and wants a way out. If she is so unsure about Muriel then why is that the only person she voted on?
Kate is my top suspect but Know-Nothing's always trying to make me look scummy is starting to look intentional. It was less than 8 hours between my mistake and then voting for duel. Why do you try to make it sound like i was hiding for most of the day. That is not true at all and has no fact to support it. So you exaggerate the truth? Why?

If you can show Muriel is not guilty. Please post how just before time-over. This is in case you die.

I don't think it was a small and silly thing. You misvoted, but didn't clarify what your actual intention with that vote was. That's pretty strange to begin with. And from my point of view it did take you a very long time to cast a new vote, considering that the presumed intention behind your attempted vote was simply to put pressure on a lurker. (In other words, you could have just slapped down a vote for some other lurker instead.) Less than 8 hours before voting for the duel, perhaps, but even then you didn't vote in red. (Or clarify what your intention had been.)
Anyway, I didn't mean to exaggerate the truth, but I am not famed for my patience. So from my point of view you did have a long period of non-voting passivity after that misvote.

I'm temporarily closing the game thread and pausing the game as of now, while I consider ending this game preemptively.
I feel this game has been significantly marred by mistakes I have made, setup issues, player attitudes and actions, and general hate. I've received numerous personal communications from many of you about this issue or this person or the other and I feel like at this point from my understanding and what you all have said, the game has been compromised and doesn't seem to be at a point where it's worth anyone's while to continue.
I'm going to consult with some of the lurkers that have been advising and think about it, and would welcome any personal thoughts on the issue being PMed my way. I'll post here when I'v'e made a decision about what to do about it.

Based on review of the situation and getting feedback, the game will continue from this point on.
Night 2 deadline has been moved to the same time as usual today, end of night results will be processed and posted then. (In 4 and a half hours from this post)

Yeah.
I was working on a last-minute post when he closed the thread, so I think I'll just check back and post that before the deadline.
Right now it's way too hot in Melbourne to sit in front of a computer.

From a clear blue sky, a lightning bolt strikes 2 feet to Bert's left.
He's slightly singed, but otherwise uninjured.
It's not related to anything directly visible and that should change the game right now, so just go on business as usual.

Careful with that lightning, you might kill a kitten.
Based on some posts from day one and being less villagery than other suspects I would push Short Richard and Half Nose Harry tomorrow.
