I disagree, that is a null tell to me. And I think the criticism against Rob, where he's stormed off in a rage twice now after being confronted with errors in his posts, is valid.

I like what I've seen from Widow Edith, Rob's new primary suspect. IMO Edith is the best player on the site though. One issue is that she never answered this question:

Widow Edith, why did you vote Lady Elizabeth despite her knowledge of werewolves?
She made a few posts but ignored this question, and then the meta was explained.

My posts says directly Why sign up if you don't follow the rules.
My second post lined out what I think was the rule-breaking

My third post:
(July 20th, 2013, 09:21)Widow Edith Wrote: The rest of all this "that's serdoa, that's thestick, that's ...."-BS makes me think about leaving the game. I did sign up specifically to avoid this "that's unlike his usual play"-way and I have no interest to get that via backdoor.
to underline my feelings about LE's try to get us all claiming.

Yes, but you didn't address the "despite her knowledge of werewolves" part.

By the way, has anybody attempted to analyze the voting patterns so far?

I didn't care about that part. I didn't care if LW is a wolf or not. I showed my disappointment with her post and I'm sure I said so later on.

Found it (getting lazy Bert?)

I didn't care if she is scum or not. It was a vote to show my absolute disgust of her post. A vote on principle and for political reasons.

As for something more holistic, I don't know if I have any deep thoughts. It's getting to the point where there has to be more than just lurking scum out there, so it's wise to reevaluate some of the vocal players, too.

I'll make a rough ranking.

Village leans:
Lady Elizabeth
Bert the Bard
Young Will
Muriel the Slow
Widow Edith

Young Will and Muriel belong there because someone claims to have evidence of their innocence. That makes it pretty likely that they're innocent, even if the evidence-holder might be scum. Also there's the minor meta-tell that Bert pointed out on Muriel that I think is valid. Bert gets his village-lean independently of Young Will, based on good content. Widow Edith also based on content. Lady Elizabeth based on content and meta.

Weaker village leans:
Agnes the Orphan
Rob the Filch
Fat Rose
Doctor Saul

Doctor Saul doesn't quite make it into my top suspect group at the moment even if I keep poking him. Anyway, there may well be scum in this group but I can't say who.

Scum suspects:
Sir Percival
Kate the Waif
Short Richard
Half-Nose Harry

This is by elimination but seems to line up pretty well with what little I have in the way of concrete scum tells. I'm a bit surprised that Sir Percival ended up all the way down here but I don't actually think he's giving off many concrete town tells, even if I agree with bits and pieces of what he's saying. That said, he's perhaps the least scummy of those four. Anyway, four scum remaining seems right, balance-wise.

Bert the Bard was found dead. He was a Village Jack of all Trades.

Also just so it is clear: there are no replacement players in line and nobody is being replaced at this time.
