Sure, I don't mind playing one with lairs off.
No opinion about the losers list vs. all leaders. Note that Sheelba can surely be added to the list: with huts, lairs, and goblin forts off, I don't see any need to ban the Clan. Maybe also Hannah, if we're not looking at a water-heavy map?

Because this is Torusland, its determined that way, and I can't find a good source (this also makes it very, very easy to alter the in-game size if you want to increase or decrease the costs BTW). PBEM50 used 36x36 for six, but I tend to think FFH maps need more room.
As for restrictions on picks - we've got Yell0w, Suttree, and HK on no opinion, and Molach's main point was wanting something a little bit different than usual, but also no strong opinion. So, I guess I'm the only one with any opinion. Let's go with the loser's list amended per HK's suggestion. Which means we're ready to send in picks! (Q, I assume you'll be willing to collect and distribute them?)
I don't know Torusland all that well, so Q, could you give an opinion on whether Lanun should be banned?

PM a top 5 to Qgqqqq. Or communicate with him any other way he requests. Top 3 is probably sufficient, but if we're all thinking alike, there's a chance you may need a fourth and fifth choice. Not that I've ever seen it, but it's theoretically possible.
Ties are broken randomly. He'll give everyone who chose a unique #1 their choice, and one random person who asked for a leader, then everyone who lost a dice roll gets their second choice, unless they also tie, etc.

50x32 I came across while looking through sirians mapscript guide - its what he built for a lakes mapscript and I think that's where we're going.
I can either role a lakes (about 14% water IIRC) or a inland seas (about 29% IIRC). If lanun are an option then it'd have to be lakes, which is a shame if you want any sort of naval action (which IIRC was a preference??? I haven't read this thread in a while...)

I don't think anyone still playing had any opinions on wetness of map. I guess I'd vote for a map that makes navy matter, so that OO has a niche. Or just vote for mapmaker discretion 
I think that I'm willing to gamble on Lanun being not OP even with water, at least with Hannah in charge.
