[SPOILERS] Retep: Better to be late than sorry

The more I think about it the more unfun this game looks, well whatver although I don't feel like updating I'll try although don't expect something meticulous.



This is the start, I don't like it. Only thing worse than clamps is dry rice. I don't wan't to play coastal so I decided to move, this would put me behind so I need to settle in a PH and get a tech from a hut or I'll too far behind.

I move the scout to the PH north. Nothing good there. I could move the settler in two ways. To the SW is a PH but still coastal so I moved to the forest in the E.

Turn 1.


Yellow dots: Maybe food.
First the scout moves to check things. If the scout don't find something good the settler moves to the PH and found the city.
The city would have hill pigs/2 flood plains, bucnh of forest. Still better than the clamps. Not nedd for fish nor sailing for a while.



Move and I see this. rivergraslandcows. bunch of hills and forest.

Turn 2.



Found city, the scout moves into the hut and I get Agriculture.

Turn 7.

Moving the scout, now going for the hut. Meet bacchus at some point I think turn 5.

Turn 8.



Forgot before. In the red dot it was a hut. I got 38 gold.

Turn 9.



Survive the lion, the hut give me another scout. I moved away from bacchus to avoid that he see him.
I have playing after him for awhile now.

Turn 12.

Plan: found 1 more city whip/chop/build a bunch of archers maybe axes and scrub their game

I play my turn 12 seconds ago. No copper.
I mean really? Man this sucks. They both are going to settle towards me, so this is pretty much game over.

Question, I took peace with Bacchus 2 turns ago, Did I still have to play after him? Could I take the other half of the timer? He takes forever to play, which means I end turn last.
It's not my fault people don't hate me!
