That's good news - I have no idea how you managed it... Since the warrior can go see the sea I've moved the scout towards the NE and ended turn.
Six teams have grown to size two already, four of them expansive, two of them not. I don't know if this is significant...
Demos:
I can take care of the turn if it comes before 11am tomorrow, but you'll need to cover anything after that...

A hut! Do you think it has bronze working in it? I wasn't sure what the next step in your micro plan was - I've got us working the corn and building a work boat - is that right? I need to end turn in about 45 mins...

Turn 16
I was a bit worried about an animal in the fog eating Lunch and thought about moving to the GFH, but the chance of someone else's scout coming out of the fog and sniping the hut would be too annoying. (Although I could just play last this turn and first next turn I think we should move as if I couldn't double move). So...
More gold! Another decent chunk too. And no animals. Next turn I think we move N and re-evaluate...

Turn 17
We're up again and since you haven't gainsaid my excellent scouting plan here are the results:
So for our remaining move I'd suggest going for red dot to uncover nine tiles - pink is a possible too, revealing five tiles, perhaps more since yellow is flatland. I think the three blue dots are water and orange is a hill.
And the event log - does Buddhism on t16 mean someone WilliamLP (SPI, EXP) researched it as his second tech? Is he going for the oracle or just making sure of religion for his SPI?

I've had another go at sandboxing ( this is the current setup) did you really get two workers, a work boat and a warrior before the settler?

I logged in to move the scout and what did I see?
dtay(PHI, AGG Germany)'s scout just arrived from the SE. So now I'm leaning towards moving NW - the tile 2NW is flatland, meaning we might get ahead of him in hut-hunting.
Although he had the choice of moving to a forest hill rather than the tile he chose, making me think he's doing a circuit around his capital like we did (or that there is a bear next to the forest hill) so we could still move SE (or we definitely shouldn't).
Anyway I'm off to bed so won't make the move for about eight hours - have you got a strong opinion?
Edit: Also I've rego'ed 5 posts in a row, I don't think you lot are pulling your weight...

I'm always leery of moving into flatland without a movement point left ...

Aaand I'm back. Damn these turns are rolling fast, I'm so not use to a pace like this It's still a month before my internship is over and I again have more time...
Anyways, interesting times! Meeting dtay is probably good news! He might be a completely solid player, but at least there's a better chance of seeing him do something totally newbish than if we had met some of the vet teams. Of course, you can never be too pleased too meet an AGG neighbor.
Re sandboxing, I advertised too early! I thought I found a clever solution, but fell *%34*ing 2 hammers short of getting settler eot36 (after building the wb, 2nd worker and a warrior). I've also tried pretty much every trick that I could imagine and am close to claiming that getting those 2 hammers is impossible, but I should have time in the evening for a "last sandboxing session" and I hope I can provide the most competitive 2-worker-opening that I can develop... (Thanks for the updated sandbox!) Btw, unless we get BW from a hut, optimal approach should still be clear for the next couple of turns (worker improves corn & then mines the grassland hill, Agincourt grows ASAP to size 2 and then builds a workboat in 6 turns by working corn+ PH forest and the mine when it finishes)
Re scouting: I'm okay with risking it but maybe we should listen to Hydra.. Since we already covered a hut I guess the next one will be at least a bit further away. Overall I thick we should uncover more of the coast (best city site to get the cows) and eventually turn eastwards and then either try to uncover the next ring around our capital or start some kind of a crazy attempt towards circumnavigation (is it possible here?). As a conclusion, I trust you with the decision! I'm not going to complain (much) if our lunch gets eaten!
