Just tried to reach the login screen to confirm which civ was ZPV for Elkad, but was unable to connect to the server - anyone else in a position to try, or is the game down.

Sorry, I've never done any of this before. It's really easy sunrise. Step 1: Start Hamachi and connect to the server (left button that looks like a power switch). Step 2: Click on the button with the triangle (create or join network). Choose create network. Step 3: Choose a network name (RB-Pitboss or something like that) and a password. Step 4: Pass the network name and the pw on to Krill, or post it here in the thread. Done.
Just wanted to say hi. I'm the sub/replacement for ZPV when we get the login issues worked out.
Already registered with Civstats for the game. Looks like you guys have been paused since the 17th? Civstats diplomacy is by far the most reliable way to contact me. I'm in 5-10 pitboss games at any given time, on 6 different forums. Civstats keeps it all straight for me  MSN runs 24/7, but if I'm not home and the power goes out, messages get lost. Or I read them and forget to write stuff down. Timely, but not reliable. Email I forget to check, sometimes for weeks. Reliable, but not timely. yahoo.com, davidetodd. For both email and MSN. Please identify yourself as a civ player on the MSN contact request so I can keep track of you. Game admin. Can we send you emails in Civstats before you take over for ZPV? I've never used the diplomacy part of CivStats
Ok, I checked the web connection from the hosting PC and it was fine, but clearly something is up. Tonight I will take the following steps:
1) Restart hosting PC. 2) Log into DNS website and confirm there is no issue there. 3) Send latest save to Sullla in case he can preform some admin password magic as per Krill in the CFC thread. |
