I don't think we need the warrior. If he sends his warrior south then he can't attack our capital before first moving onto flat ground. If he sends his warrior east onto forests then we whip a second archer. I'd rather try to punish him for the early aggression. Plus getting him to build some military in reaction to our warrior would also be good. He's made us build military; we need to repay the favor.
And if we get rid of that warrior then we go choke him with archers.
It's also possible that he thinks he's caught our only warrior out of position and he's doing a homerun shot at the capital. If so, then seeing the archer would prompt him to offer a peace deal. I don't think we should offer a peace deal at all though.

You haven't played many games against Lewwyn have you?

I don't see declaring war to pass through safely as antagonistic. It's standard play. If someone did that to us and took care not to step on tiles we were working, I'd think nothing of it. Maybe I'm crazy, I dunno, hah.

- Archer NW
- Warrior NW. I'll also entertain moving the warrior south to threaten a tag team on his warrior.
- Revolt to slavery
We actually may NEED to tag-team his warrior. He's going to be on forests, and our archer won't get odds on that.
I've played a game with Lewwyn, against Lewwyn and I'm pretty good friends with Lewwyn...

Ok, I think I agree with all of this. Your proposed moves sound good to me.

Agreed with pin and scoots. Revolt to slavery and good luck on choking him.
reminder, nothing wrong with early war as long as you win

Turn 034
Well, at least he's not right on our doorstep. But we'll see what he does now that our archer is in his face and he knows we're not defenseless. I give 40% odds that he calls it off, 60% odds that he stubbornly tries to choke us.
I want to explore more with that warrior now...

Peeked in after he played, and we got peace offers from both Commodore & Lewwyn. Thank god.
So we gotta finish that settler still. We can: - A) 2-pop whip it next turn
- B) 1-pop whip it on t36
- C) Let it finish with the forest chop on t37
I'm leaning towards B or C personally. I'll try to crunch some numbers to see what is faster.

I still want that road built southwest of the city. (And death to Commodore.)

Yeah, that's a priority road. But it won't happen before the settler finishes

We only need two turns for it...and one turn can be after the settler finishes. How there not be enough time? It speeds up the city by a turn.

Only if we whip the settler to completion. If we chop then it won't
