look at this absurd start I rolled on a Donut map for my succession game.
it's one of only a number of potential ones - I promise this wasn't WB edited.

@Dhaphir
Thx, hope it'll help our team.
As for your start, I'd consider to settle 1N on the dry corn here at first. Its not optimal most likely, but that was my 1st though.
Anyway, its food heavy start and its overpowered, so maybe you can roll another map before starting.
PS: never settle on Corn. Its bad 98% of the times.

that's only one of three potential starts and I don't think people will vote for it, the other two were more normal.
I just thought it was hilarious that the map script generated a start with six food bonuses in the starting area. I didn't even know that was possible.

That micromanagement plan looks good , and delaying the settler by 1 turn is fine if it nets us other gains in the empire. I'll also run a couple simulations once I get back. My guess is that we'll start a new settler on turn 45 in the capital, and use the extra workers we have to (1) mine the remaining grass hill in the capital, (2) chop, and (3) road to the third city site. MIT should probably continue building warriors (or perhaps even a scout) on turn 45, for extra defense.
With the gold, we'll now have Bronze Working AND Agriculture done for our third city, so if we don't have copper already, we should definitely aim for that with the third city.

I suggest settling 2 west of the start location, it's inland and still gets you the two best food resources, and leaves room for other cities to claim the seafood.

Small note: position of Fish here. So you either settle on corn on T0 or 1E on T1. Or move S-SE and let city#2 grab the fish.
EDIT: Move inland is another option, thx DMOC.

@team
What about preroad MIT in my plan?
We lost 2-3 worker turns on that. We can have mine 2/4 turns ready if we stick to original plan.
As I see it, its most important argument against new micro plan.

I was gonna 6-3 slave settler in cap at first. Now I need more calculation on this tho. Its possible slow build and 1-2 chops is better overall.
EDIT: scout after T40 is not a good idea, imo. We'll see Horses on T20, I hope. The only reason I suggest go Wo>Scout is for fastest contacts. It would faild most likely in real game, so we have to consider fast chariot for scouting build after new micro, not scout, imo.

I've notice you reread PB2 threads. Its a very good game, anyone could learned much from it.
Try to read PB4 after. Its so similar to this game, you cant imagine. PB4 is full diplo. And LP starts with IND trait in PB4 and won it.

BTW, I rly like if someone could take F9 ss after Pony ends the turn and before new turn started.
I'm in doubt on C&D right now, think that ss will help a bit. Not a big deal, tho.

Im out for fresh beer. I'll edit this post in 20-25 min. (team M&M rly annoys me right now)
EDIT: cmon, M&M, just end the turn. 3 times login and cant decide scout move? rly?
Im grumpy, cuz I wanna check Pony's F9 screen before next turn.
Guess, its the same if M&M finish turn now.
And yes, this beer tastes gooood.
