If we were able to get horses (Trade?), though, we could pretty easily snipe his capital or at the least put pressure on it. I am not sure if we'd be able to keep any cities due to the fact he has a larger, tech superior army.
Should I shop around for horses?
EDIT: Doesn't look like a lot of places for us to buy horses from...and AI Diplo means we can't really set much up.

If u can't find a horse deal it wouldn't be that big of a deal since, it would be highly unlikely we actually are able to snipe his cities. More likely than not force defensive whips.

Okay. (Although with proper roading, we can get to his capital the turn after we declare war)
Also, just noticed Sisub only has two cities left. That explains some things.

Construction is in next turns, military builds will probably be Cats for a bit to shred people who attack us some. Capital will also finish a Settler and we'll have a Scout coming in 2T to help let us look at WilliamLP's territory (I might make another, both for exploring WilliamLP/the south and totally maping out some of our north bits, so that we don't miss something in a 1 tile of fog).

Scouting finds more WilliamLP cities, no military in one and 2 Axes + Chariot in another. And yet he has a huge power rating. I must find those units...
You may notice it says I am at war with Xenu.
Xenu had a Chariot wandering about and it noticed the roading/advance force I had for Steve Jobs here and stuck around on the hill tile my Axe (and Spear) are on. He also started moving that Axe you see up. This, I could not allow, as this city may actually turn out important (The Hindu Mandir, which is the holy big building of hinduism, builds at double speed with Marble, plus possible Sistine). I didn't want to sit in my city and be seiged, so I took out the Chariot and moved my forces to make moving in with the Axe awkward. If he doesn't take the 10T of enforced peace, then I can use my units arriving (A total force of 3 Axes and 2 Spears to 4 Axes and 3 Spears, depending on how many I pull) plus Catapults rolling out to keep him away. If he does, I plant some Catapults over there anyway.

What a nice surprise! I'm going to build some Chariots and, while WilliamLP is researching Feudalism, pay attention to his city defenses. If I get a chance to decapitate him, I WILL take it. Especially since WilliamLP has ended up shooting to 1st place...
Plus, they make good Scouts that don't die to everything.
Also, BoldXenuBrick accepted peace once I made it so they can't insta-kill the city. Will be on the lookout but don't expect much in the way of future hostilities there because it is a small iceball and they have bigger concerns.

Sweet, though is Retep close enough to the point where he can attack us? Or does he not even border us, and we don't have to worry about anything. Also we might want to get someone else's map, with the 30 extra gold we got from Retep.

Retep, unless he is just overseas, is not near us. He is also the only one who can trade Maps. I tried to get it from him anyway, despite the fact that trying to give him his own 30 Gold back for his Map is nonsensical.
Interesting. Catapult and a Galley. I'll keep an eye on the seas, have my Galley go exploring (I'm going to load it with some units, too) and check what is going on.

There was not TOO much to talk about this turn: WilliamLP reinforced his capital with an HA + Chariot and he showed some other HAs/Chariots moving around, along with two Settlers, one of which seems to be heading towards Ravish's Cataboats (There are now two Galleys there). Frank Purdue expanded it's borders and Horace Dodge is building a WB for Steve Jobs.
T150 is coming up in 5T. Maybe I'll do an ubereport then. I doubt we have any chance of winning, but this game is still pretty fun, so I don't even mind.

Oh, so THERE'S his army, or some of it at least.
I don't like him researching Machinery. I'm going to Archery then Feudalism as planned (Can't build Longbows without Archery!), hopefully, it won't take too long, Forges also going up all around.
