Well I compared JPEG and PNG just now. JPEG has a lower quality color pink, but apart from that the images are identical
Will use JPEG from now on. Didn't know there was such a huge size difference.

Zero! I went for MC (triremes to kill barbs) and Machinery (maces) before Construction.

Doomsday is here. First time he can attack with both Keshik stacks (-1). He might wait for the axes though, which would be good as we'd have 7-8 extra units in the city before they can attack.
Also maybe we can whip a mace or upgrade our axes.

Maces have arrived Construction next, but first saving some gold to upgrade our axes on the battlefront. Kurumi is still waiting for his axes to catch up before attacking. He really missed his chance by waiting. We can handle his current stack in Razoul. I do hope he doesn't go on a suicide mission for our core cities just to fuck with us. I would prefer not having to attack out at him. Cassim is still at risk, and that's the city he has been demanding from us. Maybe he has another stack incoming. He is roading north to Cassim, but only a single worker is on the duty so it doesn't look like a priority. One thing I am worried about is if he gets catapults. He can't have a hidden stack of those waiting around, can he? In any case I want to get ours out ASAP so I can attack out at his stack.
We're catching up in Soldiers. The economy is not enjoying this cold war.
Our lands. I really should have mp at Magic Carpet, but every unit counts and I want them all defending against Kurumi. Chariot just finished a barbarian axe, and the new northern trireme will seek vengeance for our sunk galley. Need to build another galley to replace that one, but gonna whip a mace in Iago before that. Will need to get two missionaries, a new one for The Oracle and a second one to follow that Abis Mal settler wherever it happens to go. Going to send two triremes to destroy Kurumi's sea resources. One stays behind to kill those pesky barbarians. Genie will finally pop it's borders next turn, I delayed that way too long. We will get another luxury in the form of ivory, and we can also chain irrigate some food tiles for Genie.
We really should start settling some new cities. Still two spots on the Penile Isle or whatever we want to call it. Three filler spots on the mainland. One spot on the tiny islands to the west. Then there is all of this that our brave scout WB managed to map out:
This map is awesome. It's just so interesting.

Jinxed myself. A lone catapult appears next to Kurumi's stack. Rest of his units have caught up. Just fucking suicide the stack already, the wait is killing me.

Still waiting. He has two catapults now. He sent a trade offer, OB and Sheep for OB and Sheep. Which I suppose is an improvement over demanding Cassim for free every turn. If his stack is still sitting there next turn, it's me who ends up declaring on him.
I will kill Yuris' scouting Impi and Warrior soon. If he wanted to be friends he should have gifted that Impi to me when he saw that stack on my borders.

Yup, he leaves just when I was going to ignite the war. I bet you lurkers wanted to see a bloodbath, but don't worry, you might very well still see it. Just with different participants: Kurumi is now heading towards Gavagai. Kurumi also re-sent the earlier OB+Sheep trade, accompanied by some drunken ramblings. I re-sent him a sheep for sheep trade, which will hopefully do the trick.
Genie finally has food after a 9 worker effort to chain irrigate the grasslands.

Kurumi captured a city from Gavagai and they made peace. Good for him. I'm going to 1T research construction this turn and get some catapults up.
