Thanks. Who is the game host by the way? Are you able to unregister TheArchduke from civstats so I can claim the civ and get turn notifications?

BTW - it is possible to workaround the 'stuck diplo screen' when paused if you're in a pinch. Basically just hammer the pause button while you're logging in (when the game starts 'initializing map') and you can actually get in there during the split second before the diplo screen pops up. (Maybe this depends on how fast your PC is). I can usually get it to work on about the 3rd or 4th try, so if you need it, it's another possible option at least.

Sometimes it does cause you to lose the diplo window though, so if you don't think you'll be able to repeat the offer a second time you might prefer not to try...

Ok, back.

Sorry about disappearing guys - my wife and I found out, quite unexpectedly, that she is expecting our first child. We decided to drive from DC to Florida and back to tell our sets of parents in person (first grandkid for both of them and first great-grandkid for the living grandparents on my side of the family).

Anyways, I'm logged in now with a diplo screen. I think Regoarrarr is going to free the screen up for me (if he is indeed active on AIM), so the turn should roll over soon. Thanks for pausing!

Update: apparently Regoarrarr is in fact not available to unpause the game. Therefore if anyone else sees this within the next 15-20 minutes, feel free to unpause. Otherwise I'd prefer to coordinate an unpause in the morning.
