What is your projected power as compared to the other players once AL wears off?
How useful is tech once players get their 'end game' units on the board? Is there any point where it's best to turn off tech entirely and use the gold to speed production?

Current power (turn 143):
I don't expect this to change enormously over the next seven turns ( ). Once I can fire up the spectre spam again, my power should take a big jump.

I've had tech turned off since Iron Working. There are lots of cool units available at the higher levels of the tech tree that are fun to play with in single player, but tier 3 units are generally good enough to win, and late techs are pretty expensive. Something like Alteration would be good for me so I could fight against Rust, but more death mana may end up being more helpful.
plako's stack:
I lost Ichabod's stack. Here's what he has at his capital.

Huh? Plako has a single dedlurker, and Ichabod hasn't updated since July.
As for the world being against you, it might have something to do with the giant vampire stacks that are killing their units and conquering their cities .

Good luck. I hope you can break the vampire curse here.

Yeah, what you don't see is just how many of those posts are 'hey, what's going on, anything happening?'
Although it appears I'm suitably neutral .

Turn 144. Another hour of my life spent not having fun.
I messed up and left some workers within range of plako's spell-extension fireballs.
Ichabod is building up a strike force in his capital. If he moves against Stoville, there's not much I can do other than retreat.
plako's stack is still mostly in his capital.
Although he also has a few guys in the east.

Turn 145.
Taking a page out of Thoth's book. You can just see the bloodpets that pillaged the roads leading north out of Stoville.
