Sorry, but nobody has found the correct solution/maneuver so far. Some solutions are not bad, but there is something better.

or maybe just Nf5, Bf8, Nd6, Nc4 (don't really care if white exchanges rooks or not)

@uberfish:

The goal of establishing your knight on c4 is correct. However, after Nf5 white could play Rc5, attacking both the d5 and b5 pawns. So you would probably have to take the rook after which you are better but now the d6 square is not available any more, so the knight can't reach c4.
Look for a less complicated route.

Hints:

Ok, I think this might be a little hard, so I will give some hints:

Hint level 1:
When looking for a plan, always consider improving your worst placed piece. In this case, White has a very weak square on c4, which Black would like to use. It's possible to put a rook there, but after Rc4 White doesn't need to take immediately but plays Nc2 first, taking the rook later.
Sure, Black would still be better, but why invest an exchange if you don't have to?
Which of your piece would really enjoy sitting on a protected outpost? Correct, it's that lazy Knight, which is not doing much at the moment anyway.
Now you only need to find a way to get that Knight to c4!

Hint level 2:
After some thinking you might have discovered the best route for the knight. Unfortunately, Black's own rook is in the way - now if only there was a way to get rid of it without losing time...

Hint level 3:
With this image you should be able to figure it out. smile

Well I just evaluated black as winning after white Rc5, since black has more space and all the time in the world to set up b4 or d4 dependingon which pawn white recaptures with

I think your assessment is not correct.

1...Nf5 2.Rc5 Bxc5 3. bxc5 is only -0.35 according to Houdini, so only a small advantage for Black. I don't think this is already winning. If you want to see for yourself just enter the position in your chess program and try to win it against an engne, it's good practice. smile

In the meantime one last puzzle, in this example you only need to find a single move (no complicated long term plans):

Black to move:
