[SPOILERS] One Jump Ahead

WK also declared on Sian and took a city. Gavagai and/or Kurumi will surely join in soon.

Aziz was founded as a new front city.

I was #3 in food for a while, but running artists in new cities and stagnated a few more by running other specialists.

Things are relatively quiet in the grand scale. Next Pitboss I should report more about my empire management. That's been 90% of this game, but all of it hidden work from the lurkers :P I've still got a lot to improve on, but all in all I think my play has been really solid this time around. I've had to fight an uphill battle due to early mistakes, but managed to climb my way up the scoreboard. Early on two big issues: Going for the early library just because I had spent a few turns on Writing when I got lazy and hadn't planned anything past that, and picking Babylon instead of a Fishing/Mining Civ which in hindsight should have worked better here. Another thing slowing me down came later on when Kurumi went on the war path against me. I think I handled that well, it was definitely worth it to settle those cities that really belonged to him, but it did cost me a lot to churn out so many units to defend myself. I also need to figure out why I'm behind in tech. Do I have too many units? Did I expand too fast? Do I just not have enough cottageable land? Should I be building wealth? Should I have gotten markets and libraries up faster? I don't know the answers right now, but if I can figure it out, it will help me improve.

Gavagai is hiding his stack, but both me and Kurumi can see it from neutral land.

Graphs are way less depressing when Serdoa/NH is erased from them lol

What am I planning to do? Well, not much to be honest. I've been mulling over many plans for war, but none of them are good for me. If I act, I lose. If I wait, I lose. I suppose I could go to war just for entertainment value, but I would kinda like to see my empire intact at the end of the game for once. That is, unless Serdoa decides to invade me before everyone concedes to him. He certainly doesn't need to do that to win the game, but I could see him doing it just for fun.

Got graphs back. Serdoa was putting a lot of EP's on us and his power has skyrocketed. I need to start bolstering up my defenses in the east.

Nevermind about defending the east, there's nothing I could build to stop him lol

Kurumi has enough units to hurt Gavagai, but I fear he will go for me. If he goes for Gavagai I will help him.
