Good report.
Random thoughts:
- GS was born same turn as India's GE. I suppose it goes for Yos, as they working 2sci for some time ago.
- Next turn we'll get back to 2sci, I guess. And on T92 we should be able to start 4t 100% push for Currency.

Quote:4. Also, I have no idea what's happening between SutOxy and Orgy … it seems like both of their scores decreased? I thought if one team takes it and razes it, their score would increase first, then decrease.
As I see it, SutOxy raze Orgy's size1 city. Since it autoraze, there were no score increace for OS.
Then they whip some of their own city, talk to Orgy ingame and made peace.
I suppose Arki broke some agreement between OS and LP when settle that city, so they negotiate to raze it and replant in other spot. Maybe there is some compensation from OS to Orgy.
I could be wrong, tho.

Okay, got confused by the timing.
Say, one thing I kept forgetting is what to do with our old scout, "tourist". Is there any chance we can send him south to explore that land gap between us and Yos/Cal, so that he might be close to getting circumnavigation? I know it's unliikely but we might get lucky with some jut of land to the south...
Team Blame Caledorn also sent us an uncropped screenshot of their demographics, but we can see that they have 44 gold and are making just +10 gpt while at 0% research, and they are currently collecting gold while having nothing for Currency. Looks like they tried to crash their economy as well.
Also, we can see from the screenshot that Rome hasn't settled west of their lake AT ALL! We really should see if we can somehow secure that grassland before Blame Caledorn, or at least try to claim the northern part of it. It goes without saying that if Rome can find their military somewhere else, we should also claim that marble nearby.

Just forgot, we really do want to tell
(1) Asterix when we can trade stone for incense
(2) SutOxy if they should open borders with Care Bears
Hopefully next turn our Moai timing becomes clear.
How about we ask SutOxy not to open borders with Care Bears? Just mention that it's in all of our best interests, and that we open borders with them to (1) keep them appeased with us at the moment, and (2) because our economy would be crippled otherwise and (3) we have a deal we signed a long time ago for OB. (I'll be hard-pressed to find time for diplomacy for the next 12-18 hours.)

Have no idea what to do with scout. I was using it like u did last turn, to scout out and come back. Maybe we could just delete it.
Nice one on that ss, I didn't saw that 1st time. Still, nothing to be proud of for us. We are ahead of nonFIN team in research, thats expected.
Cause we are EggHeads after all.
I would like to grab a Marble somehow, through diplo or war. That resource could be huge to us.
Quote:(1) Asterix when we can trade stone for incense
I'm sure MM dont want stone. What they could buid? Moai?
They invest into GW without stone after all.
Quote:(2) SutOxy if they should open borders with Care Bears
I'll chat with Sut soon, I hope. I was gonna ask him take OB with India but without commitment.
See, our diplo is fragile.
We should insure ourself from both side.
We dont wanna ally with frontrunner India, obv. But we cant depend on OS/Orgy pair either. They could break deals with us after we close borders to India.
I'll try to explain it in the chat to Sut.
Right now we pay too much in import/export but it might give us some options in the future.
In any case, dont forget to mention in diplo mail to almost any team: we don't need TR with you, we are just friendly.

Some responses to your last post.
1. How about we start moving our scout down south? I'd be particularly interested in exploring that copper region. Yes, it's risky since our scout could die, but if he does it's no big deal, and there's an outside chance he could reach Inca and then travel around their borders to the southern landmass to that peninsula. We might get circumnavigation, after all. What do you think?
2. Yes, I think we're a little ahead of Incas, but if they are just starting Currency, I wonder if they have already researched another classical era tech other than Mathematics.
3. To get the marble, we just need to settle a city between Illinois and Roman city of Antium. Of course, to do that, we'll need to have Rome target someone else.
4. Asterix did mention that he wanted stone. Still, if we are generating enough GPT with Currency, we might consider paying him some gold for happiness. How much is a fair price?
5. If we are paying too much in import/export, will things change once we get currency and get two trade routes per city? Okay, if Care Bears and SutOxy open borders I guess it doesn't really hurt us that much ... Care Bears would be getting something like 1 or 2 extra GPT at most, and it keeps them from getting angry at us.

TURN 91 STUFF
------------------
So, we got The Hanging Gardens, and with 9 cities I think it was a solid investment. Of course, now we're actually close to India in score instead of the rest of the pack, so we'll have to be careful in case any teams are worried about us. But THG is not as powerful as The Pyramids + Financial + 4 extra cities, so we should keep telling teams to worry about India.
Say ... we received a message from India. Recall that they sent us this on November 7:
Quote:Hi dear EggHeads,
Our relations are good but they can always be better!
Would you like to open negociations with us over some or all of the following points :
- longer NAP : we could agree to a NAP until turn 120 or even 140
- open borders, resource deals?
- right of passage for scouting units?
- defensive pact against rome / against all other civs?
- map exchange?
- confidentiality agreement over the points above?
The Care Bears
You responded earlier today:
Quote:Hi,
What are you suggest our deals should be?
Its tough situation for us, cause every other team expect we are suicide on you and slow you down.
We obv dont want it.
Chat maybe before final deal is offered by e-mail? There is still time.
Congrats again on 3-0. Ukraine deserve it, as I see it. They talked too much after 1st match.
All the best,
TKGB
And Yuufo's response.
Quote:Wow was that the Gardens? Well done!
Lets chat some time. I am at work now, maybe tonight.
Yesterdays hero was the former Parisian M. Sakho, now at Livpool FC
Yuufo
Let me know how the chat goes. And remember, you can always say that deals are never final unless we both agree. Personally, I would include a bit of honesty (e.g., you're quite far ahead even with us getting The Gardens, and other teams want us to stop you) but mostly to keep our intentions vague (e.g., we don't want to tell them that we're trying to get Rome to attack them).

Sorry, got busy. And now I'm too tired to think, need a sleep.
Could you finish the turn, DMOC? Or I probably could, after 5-6 hours sleep.
I didn't chat with Yuufo or anyone else yet. Some new diplo mail from DT and Yos, I think.
Nice work with HG!
Its mediocre wonder for us: with 9*30-250h profit.
But GE points is nice. And most important thing, we deny it to India or SutOxy.
Maybe next turn (or even this turn) we could put 2sci into UC, so our next GP could be GE in 25turns.
I did some tiles shuffle and move some workers. Some workers are unmoved still.
We could 4t currency with 2sci in cap on 100%. We lose -67gpt on 100%, so next turn we could start our push for currency and get it done on t96 with some minor slider adjustment on t95, I think.
Pictures, as I leave cities.
I'll try to answer your last post later today.

I'm really rushed right now, so I cna't play the turn at the moemnt.
Yes, we might consider working 2 sci at Berkeley, that's another iea. Want to do that ASAP? I'd prefer both CM and Berkeley could work 2 scientists, though.
I assume you're just saving up on some gold now with Moai in Berkeley and Wasington back to Barracks.

Yep, I was thinking of put some hammers*2->gold into Moai in UC.
Then finish it later in UWash with whip o/f from barracks + chop + few turns of max hammers (horse+2GHmines).
Failed gold with resource is much better than build wealth.
No problem, I could play the turn later today, I hope.

1. Ok. I was keeping him up north to spawnbust some tiles between us and Arki. We don't need it right now, cause worker spawnbust it and we gonna pop borders of UC on t94 with help of HG. I might keep one worker to cottage some tile 1-2S from wheat for now.
2. I kinda sure they complete Math same turn we did: t86. As I remember, they had sailing before. I could be wrong, need some sleep.
3. Yep. What you think of trying talk with Rome one more time? Maybe using PM for every GG's team members? I dont wanna ruin our coalition with DT and Yos, but I think DT is the best target for Rome from their point of view. Not India. Our team is 2nd best target for Rome, imo.
4. Later Asterix said they might get stones themself. This turn he planted another city. I was sure SutOxy secured that stone long time ago, but maybe he didn't. As for fair price, lets do the math later. But I think Asterix and our team will have a very different idea what is fair.
5. Currency will help, obv. Problem is, we cant just close borders with someone. Situation, as I see it, all teams has enough trade partners for now. We should try use diplo to embargo on someone, but it could be tricky. I really dont know what I'm talking about right now. I need some sleep.
