[SPOILERS]The Tyrant realizes that once the world burns it gets really boring....

Xenu hasn't lost to you, he's just blocking himself from a win.

You're using that as the equalizer? Why not go with the phone call from yesterday where I let the Little Tyrant give you a GO DAWGS over the phone? Surely that's more of a victory you can try to lay claim to. Cheering at someone's failure, though awesome, doesn't mean you get to take credit for it.

Although since you tried and Brick updated the thread title I think that makes the score Xenu 2 - BGN 1 now.

And it's a wonder anyone reads this thread at all anymore, I think we're approaching terminal levels of noise, especially since our reporting has sucked lately. lol

Brick is a ninja, but he should be quiet:

That's a form tackle just like Coach Chizik used to coach 'em up! lol

Haha. Nice block.

What, thread renamed? Noooooo.... Guess I'll just have to get ridiculously drunk and harass Brick until he changes it back. BTW, Brick, if you are eager, take the turn! Xenu can steal the crap accolade (singular) since he ruined the game with Tyler's city placement way back when. The overwhelming pile of mediocrity that has ensued is entirely of his design.

But, thanks for putting your wonderful son on the phone. That really did make my day. Anyway, now seems an appropriate time to post this:

We clearly have won.

Are you serious? This thread isn't at all legendary. Scooter and pindicator have this many posts and views before their first settler completes in every game they play. That's legendary. We'd need the powers of a browser hijacking google redirect to drive enough traffic here to reach legendary numbers, but that won't make the thread interesting. twirl

I'm not sure what happened to the guy laying down, but I'm confident he didn't make the tackle on that play.

Upon further review (pun!) it looks like the two guys that appeared to be blocking each other were, instead, both trying to block a different guy, and ran into each other at an inopportune moment to get frozen in this damning still shot. Meanwhile, the guy you should all be looking at is at the top of the screen heading for a first down. Hardly a failed play. Not like the play I linked above where the receiver effectively tackled the Auburn running back, ending the play. Let me win the battle here, I clearly lost the war in both games. banghead

And all this spam aside I'm home now and going to play the turn, so yay for the other players I suppose.

I agree, thanks Mark. If you spend more time contradicting the presumably erroneous account initially offered (Thanks, Brick!) than explaining your own "true" version of events, you have lost. This is how elections are run. Thus, you lose, and we now have Xenu 0, Boldly Not Playing Turns 2. Or three. I can't remember now.*

*Not remembering sponsored by Norfolk Green Can Ale. On draft. In my house courtesy of my kegorator. That makes one more for me, so Xenu 0, BNPT 3. neenerneener

T208 - Time for another shoddy report.

Soy el mapa, soy el mapa, soy el mapa, soy el mapa, SOY EL MAPA!

Here's some of the power William's been building. Still looking for more of it, but I haven't found much near our borders. Basically just defensive positioning near us on land. This looks like a counterweight to Retep's navy, and then some. Maybe William is going to make a play for our old island cities, though attacking redcoats with rifles sounds expensive. I think if anything he'd wait until he could draft infantry.

For the fun news of the turn, Kuro is spending his EPs against us like no other. Why? I don't know, go ask your mother.

No real point showing this except it's where I noticed Kuro's graph was missing.

Maybe he'll attack us at I Burn, that would be funny. It would be even funnier when I marched our stack of phracts through William's empire and razed all of Kuro's cities, too. I kind of hope it happens. But not so much that I'd want to play longer turns.

Tech report. I did the work for T208, someone else can compare the second shot, T209, if you feel like it.

T209 after I pressed enter to roll the turn:

So I lied. I guess we'll see some drafting by wetbandit and Molach soon, that is if one of them swaps into NH. If one does, the other one probably will too. Also Suttree is burning down cash toward Rifling, so if we're thinking about declaring war on him to enforce peace we should probably do it now. And our enforced peace with Retep is over. He has one easy city kill if he wants it, down on our front by Suttree (at Pork Chop). He doesn't stand to really gain anything else from attacking us, anything he lands will die until we run out of catapults and phracts. So maybe he won't see any sense in it. Or maybe he will, whatever, these horses are costing us a fortune to feed and we don't have the technology to convert them to canned spam and stringed instruments, so killing English is the best use I can think of for them anyway.

Next turn: Will we be at war with Retep, Kuro, Suttree, some of the above, all of the above, or none of the above? Place wagers here, the most correct (without pussing out and saying none of them) gets a unit named for them. If it turns out to be Kuro and you win your unit gets to raze the first city. twirl
