Also, I'm disappointed that the airlines got Oxy's laptop back to him. The turn apparently rolled... banghead

I'll never say it. Lucky shits. I am glad to see the New York Yankees lose one. Saban, betcha wish you had kicked a field goal at the 11 to go up two scores... duh neenerneener

Yeah, I was questioning that 4th down call before the kick was blocked. Under 6 minutes, chance to go up two scores and you go for the first down? Saban must really have had zero confidence in his kicker...and after three missed kicks I can see why he would have. But it was a chip shot, if he can't be counted on to make that one there should be another guy on roster to try it. I think Alabama had plenty of opportunities to put the game away, and Auburn definitely gave them chances to do it....Only Florida's QB could have missed that throw on the 99 yard TD pass, that was terrible coverage by the Auburn CB. Anyway, Auburn is living a charmed life this season, playing with fire over and over and not being burned. Cheers, Brick, enjoy it.

T211 - Probably crappy reports from here on out, the break didn't do anything for my enthusiasm to play this game. And although there's another game on my skill level forming in the Civ general forum I'm not interested in joining another one right now, especially if I still have to play turns here, and especially if I'm still sinking half an hour into turns that don't matter anymore.

I stopped building Chichen Itza in Mister Love, it's 1 turn from completion there. Started building it in WWH, and I assume some other city will pick it up in six turns when we're done with failing it there. Possibly the Forbidden Palace city would be next by then, I dunno.

Techs, decipher away. From our Civstats preview of next turn it looks like only Retep and Wetbandit will finish a tech this turn. So no Rifling for Suttree next turn, unless he adjusts slider to make up the difference versus what he's running now.

This is with 50% slider, which is presently 20% above sustainable. We can compare with next turn after Printing Press is in to see how much that helped.

Burning question: Is Kuro still dumping espionage into us and are we NEXT ON HIS CONQUEST LIST???

Yes, as far as I can tell with a casual glance he is, we are surely doom-ed.
