That was the problem before the last round of nerfs and is still the problem with aggro mage. A free extra turn 8 or 9 is stupidly strong on a hero that runs burn decks. Losing on turn 8 or 9 to Pyroblast is just a symptom of that problem.

Yeah, I think you get 4x dust from disenchanting it now than if you wait.
Or you can hold on to it if you really want to use it :P
I think you can disenchant the golden and craft a regular for less right now??? Not sure why buffed cards got the full disenchant value.

First thought: Someone is playing hunter in ranked? (sorry, I just haven't seen one in my last ~20 games...)
It's a fun class and still effective at these ranks
Hm, looks like you are correct: In casual mode there are now tons of hunters with the "Unleash the Hounds", "Scavengig Hyena" and "Starving Buzzard" combo.
I've been doing Arena drafting, my first draft run was my best: 8-3 Priest run (Thank you, drafted Deathwing!). Then I went 0-3 as Thrall then Malfurion, then a 3-3 Rexxar run. I decided to actually write down my drafting run as Jaina this time so you can all see I'm bad at this.
Picks:
1. Alarm-o-Bot, Kirin Tor Mage, Demolisher
The other see don't seem great, so Demolisher works.
2. Mirror Image, Bloodfan Raptor, Argent Squire
1/1 Pinging monster for 1 is pretty nice given the Shield and the other options aren't strong.
Took a while to choose between Stormpike and Rocketeer, but I chose Rocketeer because the 5 power + Charge makes it very useful either to smack enemies around or just plain do serious foe damage.
8. Priestess of Elune, Silver Hand Knight, Sorcerer's Apprentice
Silver Hand Knight is awesome, even if Sorcerer's Apprentice is a good 2-drop.
9. Flamestrike, Cone of Cold, Silver Hand Knight
The strongest round I've had yet! But Flamestrike is stronger than the rest, as much as I like Cone of Cold.
10. Young Priestess, Ancient Watcher, Twilight Drake
Twilight Drake is good, but I want my smaller mana curve more and Young Priestess is pretty fun to mess with, so let's go with that.
11. Wolfrider, Spellbreaker, Chillwind Yeti
It might be better to go with the Yeti here, I don't know, but Spellbreaker's effect of silence is extremely useful and t still has good stats.
Very hard descision, but Abusive's +2 is going to be very useful with the build so far, moreso than Nightblade anyway. Arcane Intellect is soooooo gooooood but I could use the other stuff beforehand.
20. Mind Control Tech, Twilight Drake, Angry Chicken
Mind Control Tech has a swingy effect, but it can be hard to get off, and Twilight Drake does well to deal with dead cards in my hand by at least giving him more health.

Tidehunter is a nice card, fills up the field well, and I could use another 2-mana monster, so here it is.
29. Archmage, Scarlet Crusader, Cone of Cold
3/1 Divine Shield is pretty good and I can use it, even if Archmage is a nice higher end card.
30. Wild Pyromancer, Emperor Cobra, Abomination
Wild Pyromancer is a good 2-drop to finish off the Deck.
ok
1. I'd have pick Kirin Tor Mage, its a 4/3 for 3 mana which is pretty solid and its even more useful if you have secrets. Demolisher is a giant target that requires board control to be effective.
2. Again I would've made a different choice, I'd rather have a basic 3/2 than a 1/1 with DS.
3. I agree with the choice but champion is rarely a bad pick.
4. Agree with choice, enrage creatures are useful when you can self trigger though.
5. This time I would've taken Worgen, Warlord is ok though.
6. It's either Nova or Novice, I probably would've made the same choice even though I dislike running Novice now.
7. I'd take commando over the rocketeer every time. Commando can often 2 for 1, Rocketeer is a 6 mana card for 5 dmg removal, perhaps its useful in a Paladin deck for killing a creature who's attack has been reduced to 1.
8. Agree
9. Agree
10. I fell into this trap when I started playing, 1 drops minions generally suck. It sounds like a good card for just 1 mana but too often it just contributes nothing and puts you at a card disadvantage. Drake would've been better IMO.
11. Agree, I'd take a Spellbreaker over a 2nd Yeti unless I had solid removal already.
12. A difficult choice, you could make a case for any of these picks.
13. Missiles are ok, I'd have taken the tiger but your reasoning is valid.
14. Ugh, you made the weakest choice. Brewmaster is a solid 2 drop if you were worried about mana curve. In general the Merc is the best arena card of these 3.
15. Yes it was an automatic choice, but you still picked the wrong one! Spiteful is better even if you don't wield a weapon. Maybe it was obvious from a mana curve perspective?
16. Prob the most obvious pick so far, the other 2 are trash.
17. You don't have a huge amount of spells so far. It's an alright pick, but here's where I'd have taken the Warlord and not before.
18. Again this is the worst of the 3 offered. Raider is a 2/3 for 2 without a weapon which is fine, Snapjaw is a rather annoying minion to deal with.
19. You have minimal card draw so far (just a Novice), I'd have taken Arcane Intellect. I think this is you falling into the trap of picking 1 mana minions.
20. I agree, Mind control tech is an ok 3 even if it can't steal a minion though.
21. Yup Flamestrike.
22. Generally Knight is better, but picking Hoarder for curve is fine.
23. Obvious choice.
24. Stop picking these 1 mana cards! Golem was better.
25. I guess this is alright, Panther is a better card.
26. Agree, unless you wanted a reasonable taunt.
27. Even after the nerf, Dwarf is better than Knight IMO.
28. I probably would've made the same choice, but yuck...
29. Agree
30. I might have chosen Abomination instead but that's fine. I think most people value Pyormancer more.
Overall it doesn't make for great reading and I suspect this deck will struggle to get presence on the board and your lack of Frost Bolts and Polymorphs is worrying. You'll probably pull out at least 1 game vs someone who lets you Flamestrike 5 minons but I don't think you're likely to get past 3 wins.

On my first try after 6 rounds - nothing serious, just a casual match - I was quite suprised how well it worked (though I guess I was lucky Edwin was not instantly removed by a SW:D.
Before resigning, my opponent doubled the health and so I got a minion with 32 health for the first time:
3
Aldor Peacekeeper
Ironforge Rifleman
Mind Control Tech
Scarlet Crusader
Thrallmar Farseer
4
Truesilver Champion
2x Blessing of Kings
2x Consecration
Hammer of Wrath
Chillwind Yeti
Dark Iron Dwarf
Defender of Argus
2x Sen'jin Shieldmasta
5
Booty Bay Bodyguard
Darkscale Healer
Silver Hand Knight
2x Venture Co. Mercenary
6
Argent Commander
Frost Elemental
Windfury Harpy
7
Guardian of Kings
Was worried about crowded 4-drop slots, but working out so far

Looks very solid to me. A bit light on 2-drops you'd want to play into an empty board (owl, geomancer and alchemist wwill all have greater value as effect cards later). Did you use class power for 2-mana drops much? Or perhaps coin into your 3-mana drop right away when you had it?
2 consecrations is very good - my current paladin has none. (Does have 4 truesilvers, so I'm not complaining). Rest looks like decent, strong creatures overall.
