H4xor! Bold votes aren't counted by my tool. I guess I need to fix that at some point.
Serdoa, I'm sorry if I pissed you off, I only meant to accuse you of lying*. I wish the very best for any life improvement projects of yours, imaginary or real.

While this may be a stretch and ungrateful, this part stands out to me:

Mainly because I think he made a good case on Xenu. Somebody pushed Azarius, was it Rowain? I'm not seeing that at all, Azarius is a strong town read for me, also based on some good observations that he made. Lewwyn's claim stinks but I agree with Bob that we shouldn't lynch him today. Besides, I got a town read on Lewwyn from the way he stepped up his activity on day one after catching heat, instead of slinking back to the shadows to let the storm blow over. Oh and there's the nice bit of investigation by Catwalk which revealed that Lewwyn actually voted for Azza yesterday. Anyway the point I was going to make was that I don't think we should lynch outside today's main discussion points, we need to resolve some questions to keep things manageable from an information management perspective.
With all that, I'm staying on Xenu and Serdoa is my other preference ATM. This was by no means a nice bit of investigation I was hurriedly looking through the thread and realized I was voting Lewwyn on shaky grounds, this was out in the open for everyone to see all along. It looks a lot like buddying up, and I don't think town novice has a habit of doing that. Moreover, I think he knows that I tend to be a sucker for people buddying up to me.
And this is x-posting with the other votes on him.
Jowy, I think hanging Lewwyn is an exceptionally poor choice tonight.

Quote:Why would they finish off two townies and make it easier for us to find them? They aren't gonna win any sooner if they start killing us off now. Better wound first and kill off at the end, right? In general yeah, barring some special circumstances like finishing off a confirmed townie that we wouldn't ever suspect anyway.
No. Better to use a kill like it is normally used, to exert influence on the village, to kill those who seem to be thinking the right thoughts, to reinforce the power of the scum faction. Two wounded a night is significantly worse then one kill a night (which is why I agree with Lewwyn that the scum probably have two kills) because it delays this process so, all other things being equal, the scum should always target those they can kill over the night (the problem is, of course, that things aren't equal, and protection roles, tracking and so on alter this equation). And in this case the two who have been wounded are more trusted as a result, so why would they leave them alive?
And the point is that Lewwyn is not committing to what he will do with his power, which means the mafia will have to second-guess it if they want to kill off the wounded. Block it, and the scum recieve a lot more freedom as to what they can do, unless we have doctors coming out of our ears.

Catwalk, I'm 85-90% sure novice was joking.

Qg understands.
@ Jowy: Also, if the scum wound two different villagers in the night, that's two extra people in Day 3 who are most likely innocent (barring 3rd faction affiliation or self-inflicted wounds), and probably not going to be at risk for a mislynch. Not saying they wouldn't do it anyway, but it's not a exactly cut-and-dry obvious play issue.
Quote:I strongly think that we shouldn't have a guy with a kill ability roaming free. Even if he was town, which we can't know, it's not like his ability is an automatic help for us. It's a big gamble.
Am I understanding this correctly, that you would want me to block anybody with a vig power? I'm not even sure what to say to this.
