[SPOILERS] Dhalphir PB13

Plako took Korhal, but it cost him four knights against three longbows to do it, so I'm happy with that trade.

Zerus will fall next turn, that city only has an axe and a chariot in it. Not sure if Bacchus will be able to take any more cities. Maybe one more. I assume Plako is going to finish me off in one go now - I don't have much more population to whip through and he has replaced about half of the power he has lost up to this point.

I still have plenty of longbows left. If Plako had given me even 2-3 more turns he would not have been able to take as many cities as he has. Most of these longbows were produced via whipping in the last 5 turns.

I asked for all his gold, I think he had just under 200. I probably would value the city higher if I weren't fighting for my life, but it was only size 2 and isn't an amazing city.

To be honest, what I really did was sell it to Lewwyn, because Azza has only slightly longer to live than I do, based on the speed of his conquest.

Whipping my cities to the bone was the right move to keep me alive as long as possible. Not only did it give me the maximum number of units (even a 1 pop whipped archer has killed a half strength knight a couple times during this war), but plako has not been able to whip so much as a scout out of the new cities he's gained yet, so he isn't able to turn them against me.

There's an axe on it - it departed before the war to make contact with retep, williamlp, and anyone else I hadn't met yet. The axe was in case anyone left a coastal city empty or with a warrior in it.

It's all a matter of time now. Plako is bombarding down Antioch - smart move, since I've packed 15 longbows into the city and his army would be shredded if it tried to advance without bombarding. Gives me a few more turns.

I was hoping to outlive Retep, but I don't think that's going to happen - WilliamLP hasn't taken any cities from Retep and has in fact been declared on by Ichabod, so I think Retep has earned another ten turns.
