Oh yeah, and I was going to oracle civil service in 5ish turns. Wasn't certain when I would revolt though, maybe I would've used my incoming scientist for a golden age instead, maybe I would've eaten the anarchy.
I am suprised at the worker disparity, especially given that I had yet to deforest the capital and built much less mines. I guess despite the minor disparity in cities yours were much more concentrated then mine, expanding as I did to both the east and the west. I also had calender and had misplaced a city for bad tile sharing, as well as my eastern cities being placed further out to pick up their resources. I definitely didn't feel like I had an excess of improvements.
The settler finishing was probably going to my south, to where you built High Gate.
I think my biggest problem was, as mentioned, not expanding west fast enough. I didn't want to plant for the fish with an early two workers and I was then entranced by the pigs of the east likely far more then they were worth.
