WW 31 Game Thread PARANOIA

In order for the theory about Ryan being a killer holding up, doesn't that require him to be faking all of his scans? Do we really think he's that good an actor? Qg, I'm suspicious about you already planning your next lynch without knowing Ryan's alignment. Or do you in fact know it?

eeeh :P I lied when i was role seer in a role madness game and manipulated everyone. Which is prob why Serdoa wants me dead now..

I am increasingly less happy with a Ryan lynch, but I don't find catwalk especially scummy right now.

For now, no lynch
Merovech's Mapmaking Guidelines:
0. Player Requests: The player's requests take precedence, even if they contradict the following guidelines.

1. Balance: The map must be balanced, both in regards to land quality and availability and in regards to special civilization features. A map may be wonderfully unique and surprising, but, if it is unbalanced, the game will suffer and the player's enjoyment will not be as high as it could be.

2. Identity and Enjoyment: The map should be interesting to play at all levels, from city placement and management to the border-created interactions between civilizations, and should include varied terrain. Flavor should enhance the inherent pleasure resulting from the underlying tile arrangements. The map should not be exceedingly lush, but it is better to err on the lush side than on the poor side when placing terrain.

3. Feel (Avoiding Gimmicks): The map should not be overwhelmed or dominated by the mapmaker's flavor. Embellishment of the map through the use of special improvements, barbarian units, and abnormal terrain can enhance the identity and enjoyment of the map, but should take a backseat to the more normal aspects of the map. The game should usually not revolve around the flavor, but merely be accented by it.

4. Realism: Where possible, the terrain of the map should be realistic. Jungles on desert tiles, or even next to desert tiles, should therefore have a very specific reason for existing. Rivers should run downhill or across level ground into bodies of water. Irrigated terrain should have a higher grassland to plains ratio than dry terrain. Mountain chains should cast rain shadows. Islands, mountains, and peninsulas should follow logical plate tectonics.

I am not sure il survive :P and I am going to bed since its 1 am here. I wish I could have done a better job as a kill seer. I still think I made most of the right choices. Every though ive had about the game. Explanations of my role have been posted more then 3 times in the thread now. Il see in a couple of hours the result :P I cant think of any possible way the votes would change that fast. Good luck town. I might post a 1 liner after result if im dead.

Votes can easily change fast. Less so in this game because Europeans can't make the lynch deadline easily, but still very much possible. I'm willing to go along with No Lynch if that's the only alternative to hanging Ryan. I feel that everybody has been far too pleased with piling on a convenient target that just about talked himself into the grave. Ryan, care to cast your vote for No Lynch as well? I do think it's a poor option, but it seems more realistic than alternatives given how unwilling people have been to pursue other leads.

Also: apparently my laptop has decided that it doesn't actually want to function, and I'm heading interstate for a week and a half. Will be reduced to (learning how to use) phone access for the duration, unless I can steal computer access from family.

On the plus side, it probably won't reduce my contributions by all that much tongue

Oh the old broked my computer defense, he's clearly a witch wolf commie! Isn't it better strategy to save that one for when you're on the way to the noose?
