Anyone else having problems with chess.com java app? It says it's blocked by my security settings even after allowing it. Only happens on that site.
EDIT: specifically when trying to play against the computer. EDIT2: Nvm, the site staff has known about it for over a month but are still investigating.

I imagine chess960 might be fun because you get to invent your own opening from the very first move. Or alternatively, a set of 960 opening repertoirs...
 In any case, I challenged you to a game, Jkaen, to find out.  I think there's quite a bit of variety to be found in regular chess, too. That's what is so fascinating - once you do leave the book, you can end up in all sorts of wildly different positions.
If you know what I mean.

Okay, reason is because the site/app (whichever) isn't certified. You could lower your java security settings to play, but imo not worth it.

What's the draw etiquette again?
I'm in a game http://www.chess.com/echess/game?id=85222544 and it probably is a drawn position (same-colored bishops plus equal # of pawns). This guy keeps offering a draw every turn and it's kind of annoying. Like I said, it probably is drawn (I admit to not being great at telling that), but I am in so few endgames like this that I enjoy playing things out. So what's proper?

Your opponent is a moron. Under no cirumstances do you offer a draw on every move, it's just rude. Feel free to ignore him and play on, that's probably the bigest punishment since he wants a draw so bad.
