Finally got a 10-3 draft with warrior after winning my 3rd 7-3 draft:

Those Acid Oozes must've been on vacation during those 12 games because I only ended up meeting one in the last game of this draft. Gotta get dat pint-sized summoner to slam him into a wall four times for showing up. bash My reward for that draft was 1 pack and 375 gold split from 4 chests. I can say I'm pretty happy with that. smug

TB apparently went 12-2 for the first time a couple of days ago due to being able to practice arena off camera.
Surprise! Turns out I'm a girl!

I had a game yesterday that went like this.

He plays coin and puts out 2 mana creature.
I play Stormforged axe and kill it.
He plays Ooze and destroys it.
I play my 2nd Axe and kill Ooze.
He plays 2nd Ooze.

Well, it's more of a joke of my deck than a play in one of my games. What really happened (From what I could remember from my somewhat poor memory) is that during my last game against a Shaman, I played a Arcanite Reaper on either turn 5 or 6 and killed one of my opponent's minions with it. Then next turn, dat Ooze showed up and ruined the fun (I would've gotten away with a 11-3 or 12-2 draft if it weren't for that meddling ooze). lol

As for the Pint-sized summoner, despite her not being too great in area, you'd be surprised of how well she synergizes with Warsong Commander and Scarlet Crusader. I was hoping the Paladin, in one of my other games during this draft, would do something to get rid of my turn 1 coined Pint-Sized Summoner, But he didn't. So on turn 2, got my Warsong Commander out and opponent wasn't playing anything but his tokens from his hero power. Then turn 3, I got out my cruel taskmaster to kill one of his tokens and continued slamming him with my minions. On turn 4, I had 2 mana left over to armor up when I played crusader for 2 mana and managed to do like 9 - 12 damage throughout the course of 4 turns. Of course, the paladin ended that fun by killing my warsong commander with his Truesilver Champion.

Also, those 4 slams and heroic strike sure came in handy when it came to getting rid of problematic minions on the board. nod

I pretty much play constructed for the same reason, but also to get a solid understanding of how each class works after reading some guides. If it was my choice, I would be playing more arena than constructed since I mostly don't spend money very often online (except LoL, thanks to the prepaid cards). However, with how much gold I've been saving up from my quests, I may end up doing just that and this tool really helped me when practicing my arena drafts.

Yeah, saw Total Biscuit's twitter page about that. Congrats to him.

Now at 4 legendaries (Onyxia, Alexstraza, Baron Geddon, Grommash Hellscream) without buying packs. And Gelbin Mekkatorque, but everyone has him..

I have to be honest though, before this post, I didn't have a golden Gelbin Mekkatorque. That is, until I found out today that the GameStops near my area were loaded with Battlenet Cards. So, I feel more welcomed to the club now. party Also, I'm currently at 3 legendaries: Gelbin (Obviously), Leeroy Jenkins (just pulled him today) and my 1st legendary Nozdormu (which I sometimes nickname him Panic-Eyes Rush Dragon). cool

My best runs in general have been with Mage, Paladin, and Druid. But to my surprise, my first clean 12-0 was with a Priest:

Early game was always slow but I guess the double Shadow Madness and Holy Novas were always enough to recover. I had remembered from two previous priestastrophes that I needed to pick 2 drops extra highly to get enough, and so I opened up the draft with sunfury protector over argent commander. While that may have been a questionable pick, I think it worked out for the best given the future picks. Sunfury helped a lot with not dying to early beatdown, and once I reached the late game I always had plenty of cards and a strong position anyway. (Btw, as you can see, I didn't open a single common 2 drop that I could reasonably pick, except for novice engineer which only half counts. Usually I have a ton of 2s since I value them quite highly.)

Some details of my play which may be helpful:

1) I was cavalier with my Northshire Clerics. No qualms playing them turn 1, and no worries if I played them mid to late game and only got one draw off.

2) I was zealous in the use of my hero power. Whenever it was a reasonable play and I wasn't ending the turn behind on the board or in dire straights health-wise, I preferred healing up damaged guys to playing more guys. This is how I always had plenty cards for late game.

3) I was stingy with shadow madnesses. Usually I play quite greedily, especially with a slow deck like this one, and try to maximize my gains each turn. (I've found that when I don't, I often get overrun, or miss out on a kill before I run out of steam, depending on the type of deck.) But I would save Shadow Madness until it was significantly better than my other options. It's just such a strong card, and while it can one-for-one trivially, it can just do so much damage if saved for the right moment. And, importantly, holding back more is fine because it's particularly strong when your opponent is trying to press an advantage.

I managed to go only 2-3 with the following Deck:

1:
Argent Squire
Noble Sacrifice

2:
Acidic Swamp Ooze
River Crocolisk
Argent Protector
Equality
Youthful Brewmaster
Wild Pyromancer
Sunfury Protector

3:
Jungle Panther
Razorfen Hunter
Earthen Ring Farseer
Sword of Justice
Scarlet Crusader

4:
Truesilver Champion x2
Consecration x3
Blessing of Kings
Hammer of Wrath x3
Chillwind Yeti
Twilight Drake
Ancient Brewmaster

5:
Stormpike Commando
Venture Co. Mercenary

6:
Boulderfist Ogre

7:
Guardian of Kings

This Deck wasn't great (I had picks that required me to take Argent Squire, Razorfen Hunter and Noble Sacrifice after all, though I don't think Sacrifice is too horrible), but it is pretty funny to see a Deck with so many Pally "power" cards do 2-3 and it continues my string of being very dissapointed in Arena Paladin. It seems like their power cards are never as powerful as people say and the fact they are on 4 means it often gets bloated in a bad way due to how many other good 4s there are.

People who are good at Paladin in Arena, any advice for me in drafting them? I can give a full card vs. card draft for this too, if you'd be interested.

EDIT:

I did a mock Arena draft with that tool from earlier.

Why can't I get this draft normally?!

EDIT2:

And why does the link only not work when I copy paste it here?
