Okay, I made those changes. Important questions for next turn:
- do we declare on Mack for the enforced peace or let him do it? (I think we declare)
- do we start on Chemistry straight away or save some more cash? (save some cash)

Turn 192

Not a lot to report, other than our 11XP galleon being ready - it's staying in port this turn to avoid getting clobbered by the lurking SOTL. Jamestown won't finish a unit this turn, because I don't think it can produce anything as useful as a Cuirassier (do we need 14XP catapults?) Bigger carries on rolling over Azza. And there was no change to Ichabod's stack. Lets see if he notices that we got Astronomy this turn.


Oxford will complete eot195 (or perhaps earlier with a whip), so we can save cash for four turns then either go for Chemistry or Printing Press (if we have peace with everyone in the world). On t194 do we just switch to Caste or do we go for Pacifism too for a boost for Om? (I think just Caste will do.)


Declared and offered peace with no trimmings to Mackoti. I didn't kill any of his three scouting workers - lets hope he's as keen on peace as we thought.

What does your GNP look like at sustainable rates?

Rubbish. With Oxford we might get near a GNP of 1000 at break-even, but we've got half the cities of Mack and Pindicooter, so that's nowhere near competitive. Maybe if we take a bunch of Ichabod's mainland cities including his capital with no resistance we could get back into the game, but I don't see it somehow...

If we'd used our great artist to bomb Ichabods capital instead of wasting him on Mackoti things could have turned out better, but right now we're just hoping the leaders get bogged down.

Good news:
- Mack took peace. (Let's see if we can repeat the feat next turn with dtay)
- Mack took a city from pindicooter (Cross your fingers that little island skirmishes turn into massive mutually devastating war, which is followed by another massive war by plako, dtay & Commodore, which is followed by our convincing victory..)

Bad news:
- Ichabod and WilliamLP are now at peace. (Coincidence? Ichabod is expecting something? Anyways, now Ichabod does not need to worry about his western border for 10 turns, which probably makes our life more difficult. I wonder if our speculated messages to William would have changed anything..)



Other stuff:
- Yeah, Caste only should be good enough, no need for pacifism
- Changed Madrid from Culture to Granary, I assumed that you had forgotten to switch it.
- And we might want to offer OB + maps to mack, what do you think?

The culture was in case we didn't get peace. Granary instead is good. OB and maps is good too. I wonder if it was one of the island cities pindicooter offered us?

Just out of interest, why? We already got the first border pop and reaching 100 culture seemed a bit far away.

I think it was an eastern city on former TBS island, the ones that were offered are just N of that place and possibly next targets of mackoti if pindicooters are retreating (as their offer kind of indicates). I actually did not look this too carefully so there's a chance I'm mistaken.

Just out of interest, why? We already got the first border pop and reaching 100 culture seemed a bit far away.

Madrid doesn't produce culture so if mack popped Maximin's borders it might take those tiles.
