Oh, and before I make my next move how do you want to handle the use of databases? My preference would be to let us refresh our memory of queen pawn openings, but then go without reference material from there. I'm okay with whatever you like.

I'm easy. I'm also not not all that great at chess, I just like to play it to relax.

Finally got the courage to play some games against random humans. Found out it's not that different from LoL. There are always worse players than you, and when you win they call you a whore and go afk for the last 7 minutes of the game

Do you play on chess.com? I have never been insulted in all my years on the Playchess server. As for going afk that is not uncommon, but with the Playchess software you can just alt-tab and it will alert you if your opponent makes a move. And if my opponent wants to go afk it is his choice, makes it easier for me to score a full point.
BTW, recap of day 1 from the Candidates Tourament, first surprising upset:

Yeah, I think I have to play there to find noobs. Just got another guy trying to blackmail me to accept a draw or he'd go afk for the last 8 minutes. Both times I did get a notification that the opponent may have violated their fair play policy, but I don't know if that actually leads to anything.
