Multiplayer | Direct IP Connection | type in Caledorn's IP address and port number in the box for Network Address, click Connect. Hope that there's no one already connected to the server who your connection attempt will bounce off of. If there is, prepare to write hostile missives in the tech thread for them to hurry up and log out already.
The last step is probably OK to omit when troubleshooting, or in general.

Alright, then that's what I did, and it didn't even go anywhere. Hrm. I was actually hoping that I did something drastically wrong. This is what I got:

To confirm, your login info looks like this right?
From your screenshot it shows you have the right version of the mod installed. Is it in the MODS folder under program files (or steam), or my documents? Supposedly it doesn't work under my documents but I haven't tested that.

It works I swears I works in mygames. I'm on win7 for all that's worth.
I've had the failed to join game issue crop up a few times, try again tomorrow, see if it sorts itself out before digging around endlessly for a problem. Sometimes it's just the tubes, they can get tangled with in the nets and such.

I pasted this in:
caledorn.no-ip.org:2058
And I have the mod in the MODS folder.
Edit: I figured it out! There was an invisible space when I just copy/pasted from the forum. I'm at the leader screen now....
Edit2: Success! I logged in. Ha ha ha... silly me.

When I pasted it in, it didn't work for me at first--turns out you get a space at the end, and that screws everything up. Just delete the space, and it should work

Works for me. Except I exited straight to desktop (sorry). Is that still bad?
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Sometimes it is. You probably forgot to load the mod though.
As the Americans learned so painfully in Earth's final century, free flow of information is the only safeguard against tyranny. The once-chained people whose leaders at last lose their grip on information flow will soon burst with freedom and vitality, but the free nation gradually constricting its grip on public discourse has begun its rapid slide into despotism. Beware of he who would deny you access to information, for in his heart he dreams himself your master. - Commissioner Pravin Lal, "U.N. Declaration of Rights"
