I'm not 100% sure, I'd have to run it in JDIP or spend time reading the rulebook, but I think Greece is displaced in that scenario and has to retreat. Assuming no other units are involved, anyway. Reasoning: Gre-Ion bounces with the supported F Ion, so it doesn't go there. Alb-Gre keeps its support from Ion, because support can only be cut from a province that it's not attacking. With no support to hold, it's 2 vs 1.
Okay I have a plan. Double support the SER army in and then use the self-standoff trick to cover three squares with two units. (my first plan can be stopped by him attacking my fleet directly).
Edit:
I would also build an army in VEN and move it to TRI. I would move into SER with my Tri army with Russian support to stop scooter from out guessing me.
Edit 2:
NAP would support ION to stop a retreat.
The russain fleet in RUM would support the new SER into the black sea. So no matter what the CON fleet does it's useless
Edit 3:
A VEN F SEV A MOS
TT supports me into VIE and moves A WAR-->GAL A VEN-->TYR to stop annoying retreats.
I support A SER into Greece with ALB. My fleets defend. TT goes F RUM-->BUL of course and scooter cannot move a fleet without dropping a unit. So TT walks into the black sea.
Assuming scooter guesses right: GRE is still only attacked once so I can kick him out of SER.
The only way that plan can fail is if scooter supports Austria's navy into BUL but that would be such a sick play that he would deserve to win.
NOTE TO SELF: BOUNCING EVERYONE OUT WORKS BECAUSE THE RUSSAIN ARMYS CAN THEN CONSLADTE FOR THE NEXT TURN
Mardoc is correct - you can't cut support on a province that is supporting an attack on your province (unless you dislodge it). So in this case, because it's a 2:2 attack on ION, the support for ALB-GRE is NOT cut. If F Apu did not support F Ion (or if its support was cut or if they had another attacker) then the support would be cut

Thanks!
In other news I'm sure about TT is telling the truth about his bad internet as this is such a strange time to lie about it (2-days before anything happens).
Because Rowain+Scooter won't seriously talk to me I have to option but to stick with TT and hope france doesn't attack me.
I backstab Rowain because I believed TT was telling the truth because of his emotional freakout. Because he allowed me to get 3 SCs last turn (possibility) I was right. Rowain fooled me, by looking like I had him fooled, and stopped me from making progress this year.
My plan is now:
Take GRE with SER.
Try to move into SER and TRI too.
Have TT attack VIE+BUL and move into the Black Sea and GAL.
My fleets defend
So the builds would be
A VEN
F SEV
A MOS
Edit: I'm kind of being burned out this game...getting lazy...
I've spammed people with correspondence but got nothing. I sense people being burned out.
So to summarize the game, Rowain offered a great deal and I of course accepted. Then I made scooter waste his turn by lying to him. I thought he wouldn't matter anymore because TT would help Rowain and I kill him. This didn't happen and I'm not good enough at this game to know who's fault it is. Then TT offered me a great deal (3 SCs) and had an emotional freakout to back it up. I was right about trusting him. Then Rowain tricked me into thinking I tricked him and Scooter guessed TT backstab him. So TT should have attacked scooter two turns ago (not giving up the black sea) but without the correspondence between them I cannot say TT made a mistake.
On the sidelines, I made a DMZ with France and I made TT believe Germany would stab him when Germany did it. I have no idea if Germany was playing both sides and it made him enemies with everyone or I misread him and he never intended to attack Russia.
Hey, I just got my computer back. How is everything going? From the gamestate thread, it looks like we have 6 centers and are doing pretty well overall, though Russia is kind of worrisome. What are your plans from here? Does it look like we will get any more of Austria and/or Turkey?
Merovech's Mapmaking Guidelines:
0. Player Requests: The player's requests take precedence, even if they contradict the following guidelines.
1. Balance: The map must be balanced, both in regards to land quality and availability and in regards to special civilization features. A map may be wonderfully unique and surprising, but, if it is unbalanced, the game will suffer and the player's enjoyment will not be as high as it could be.
2. Identity and Enjoyment: The map should be interesting to play at all levels, from city placement and management to the border-created interactions between civilizations, and should include varied terrain. Flavor should enhance the inherent pleasure resulting from the underlying tile arrangements. The map should not be exceedingly lush, but it is better to err on the lush side than on the poor side when placing terrain.
3. Feel (Avoiding Gimmicks): The map should not be overwhelmed or dominated by the mapmaker's flavor. Embellishment of the map through the use of special improvements, barbarian units, and abnormal terrain can enhance the identity and enjoyment of the map, but should take a backseat to the more normal aspects of the map. The game should usually not revolve around the flavor, but merely be accented by it.
4. Realism: Where possible, the terrain of the map should be realistic. Jungles on desert tiles, or even next to desert tiles, should therefore have a very specific reason for existing. Rivers should run downhill or across level ground into bodies of water. Irrigated terrain should have a higher grassland to plains ratio than dry terrain. Mountain chains should cast rain shadows. Islands, mountains, and peninsulas should follow logical plate tectonics.

My post above yours summaries what happened. With his poor internet connection TT is unlikely to change course. So I'm pretty sure I'll get at least two more SCs. So I'm going to focus on finishing off Turkey and Austria this year.
Hmmm. It might be better to support my VEN army into try and allow SER to fall. This would make TT get BUL or the black sea. TT should also support MOS in SER but I won't say anything until TT reponses.
EDIT. The turn after this on I might retreat into the TYS sea a build a fleet in NAP for tactical reasons. I might be able to sucker punch france by doing this.
Edit 2: Hmmmm... I suggested to TT that he should support A MOW-->SER but if scooter loses the black see he's screwed anyway. So that's overkill. I'll tell him that next time I talk to him.
