Eh, maybe I'll just stay home and defend. I seriously doubt HK is beatable at this point, and that would minimize my time investment until the end of the game.

Well, maybe my decision will be made for me. Yell0w settled a city on my border, for a mana node. Now, granted, I've been very slow about expanding ever since I crashed my economy, even though it's mostly recovered. Which means it's on his border too, by now. Still. MY NODE! He's not even using mages, as far as I can tell.

So I threatened him. Demanded the city, put 6 ice elementals in it and 10 mages within range. We'll see if he accepts the deal, or if I'm going to raze it and offer peace (which, of course, may not actually come). I've now gotten all my adepts with sufficient XP upgraded, so tech is back on, Bronze due in 2 turns. That's 11 or 12 mages, don't remember exactly, with 5 adepts still training (and three more born this turn).

Yell0w didn't give me the city. But on second thought, I don't really want to spend the time it would take to fight a war. So I'm just going to be hanging out, I guess.

Azarius, if you're still around, this is probably a good time to go global. Yell0w's eating Molach, I think, and HK is at war with Suttree, and I'm not sure I'm going to report any more.

I am just a casual lurker, but this game still looks pretty competitive to me. One nice thing about being Illians is you can make an serious impact on the game without having to ever wage war- were I you, I might consider building the Fuck The World ritual just so everyone could share in my misery

Yeah, it probably is. At least, HK is no longer tops in the demos, somehow I've made it up to 2nd in GNP, and in general the game seems topsy-turvy at the moment.

I'm tempted to invade the Amurites while they're off messing with HK - might finally force out their worldspell. Really the problem is that I just want the game to be over, though, and I'm not convinced that's the quickest way there.

Second worker - My military advisor told him to go 2 north and farm something. But midway through his move economic advisor realized I could save a worker turn by pre-roading a tile on the way...

With no chance to win I just went for military practise instead.
