As you may know, the deck called "Miracle Rogue" is named after the Magic deck called "Miracle Gro". What's not evident from looking at hearthstone decklists is that the essential basis for a TRUE Miracle Gro deck is 4 Quirion Dryad... er, I mean, Mana Wyrm.

This deck was a lot of fun to play. I didn't expect it to go that far after the draft and the first few games, but in the later games it all worked out pretty well. In the games where the early aggression wasn't enough, deathwing always pulled it out in the end after a lot of ice-based stalling.

Reached Rank 10 today. I'm playing these two custom decks:

Improvement suggestions are welcome :P

Why Sunwalker over Argent Commander or a 2nd Fist? 1 Fist and 1 Sunwalker feels a little odd to me - if you need the defense, then dual Sunwalker is great; if you need utility, then I'd think dual Boulderfist, and if you want offense, then dual Argent.

Woot! Made it to legend with a combination of trap hunter, rush hunter, warlock zoo, and shaman.

I think the toughest matchup for players without a lot of cards is definitely hunter. I thought my best matchup against it was the rush hunter deck, which is always a bad sign. But the real counters, decks like warrior control, require several legendaries.

My personal nemesis, though it's one-sided, was Specialist. I don't know if I took a single game off him, and I faced him at least 6 times over the course of several days. He's why I switched from trap hunter to rush hunter, which is what he was playing in most of the games.

By the way, by "trap hunter" I mean a hunter deck with all three of explosive trap, misdirection, and freezing trap, and not a lot of random minions. By rush hunter I mean a hunter deck with at least some other aggressive minions. I used leper gnome, argent squire, abusive sergeant, and a single arcane golem.

Any chance we can see those decklists? Haven't tried much ladder climbing and sadly Warlock Zoo w/ Shieldbearer really sucks with my Druid deck so I've been playing Control Mage, Midrange Paladin and some Trap Hunter (But I need more Misdirection).

Sure.

The Shaman deck is based off TidesofTime's, and the idea is basically just great cards + Rockbiter/windfury combos for burst damage at the end. His had Bloodmage Thalnos, Mana Tide Totem, Al-akir, and Blood Knight. I lacked those cards and substituted Kobold Geomancer, Gadgetzan Auctioneer, Cairne (one of the few legendaries I've opened, yay), and Acidic Swamp Ooze. Cairne is not an ideal substitute for Al-Akir, who serves the dual purpose of resilient late-game power and burst combo with Rockbiter Weapon. He does a decent approximation of the first though. With no Cairne I would try for the best late game topdeck you can come up with. Gadgetzan is a good card in this deck, I don't feel bad about running him at all, and he could easily have been in TidesofTime's list against a slightly more control-heavy metagame. Ooze is a metagame card and has been pretty good. I'm happy with it. Geomancer I am not sure about, but the spell damage is pretty good in this deck and it's often nice to have around. I am thinking of crafting a Thalnos though since it's so generally useful, and I just pulled a Tinkmaster for 1600 dust. The deck REALLY wants Al-akir, but I can't justify crafting him for use in just one deck.

The Zoo deck is based off Reynad's. I forget what he has in there exactly that's different, but these are all reasonable choices and you can just make small changes depending on the metagame. Like, Blood Knight would be pretty good, for example. The important thing with playing this deck is to kill their guys efficiently instead of going face almost every time you have the choice. If I were going to swap something out it would probably be the Scarlet Crusader.

The Hunter deck is, well, most of the list is pretty obvious, and I decided on the specifics myself. As I alluded to I was "inspired" by Specialist's deck, the exact contents of which I am however unaware of. You can play around with the numbers a lot. The Misdirections aren't as good in a deck with so many dudes, so maybe one of them should be taken out. Maybe a Freezing Trap should be added, or a second Animal Companion. The only card I'm not playing because I don't have it is the second Flare. I don't think I'd want to play this deck without Leeroy, because he's just worth SO much to this deck due to powering up Unleash.

What decks are you playing these days, Kuro?

P.S. If you look at these decklists you might (rightly) conclude that Argent Squire is a good card. lol

I'd run two Sunwalkers if I had two nod They are pretty good while stalling for Pyroblast/Flamestrike/Alexstrasza. I agree with your analysis, though I also think that Argent Commander wouldn't fit the deck. I already have a bunch of ways to deal with 4 HP stuff. I think for offense I would rather run a Leeroy as a "third fireball" if I had him.

Seven congrats on legend!!! bow Pretty amazing to see a RB'er reach that!
