I was going to go to Music for the GA, but then this:
I hope he uses it for a Golden Age. He could make things awkward for Breakage if he uses it at Pyke.
I founded Granite State SE of Breakage, by the iron and sugar.
WHipped in a pavaillion at Mandala, which will allow me to run an artist and get 10 culture per turn, which will get my cultural defense up fast and take some of those tiles back.
eastway is building up power, so I have to as well. I was going to go a market in say my name after moai, but I'm going to build up some units there.
Get calendar next turn, then feudalism. Need some LB for Mandala.

Turn 86:
Looks like I have a race for an island:
I win that race, though, of course, TT could plop down a GA somewhere and make that moost.
See what happens, I guess.
I noticed that my cap is up against it's health cap, so:
Those will help.
Culture wars:
Those will help me get those two cities up and working.
I have 5 turns to go on a peace-treaty - I'll have Feudalism by then and at least a couple of LB in mandala.

Turn 87:
C-H asked for 19 gold. I assume he's running deficit, but I don't see a reason to give him my cash, especially as I'm going to want to use it to upgrade archers to longbows.
Newest city, Box Cutter. This is the first episode of season 4, where Gus Fring is a total bad-ass (as opposed to other times)
I may change this to a granary, based on this:
yes, TT is going to bomb Pyke, which will cause me problems in Breakage. I think breakage is going to get hit with culture, so I'm running an artist there and will run a second after it grows. I'm probably losing that banana, which sucks, and may lose other tiles. Hopefully, I'll be able to get it back, since I'll be running more CPT than he will.
I was builidng a worker there - I switched it to a pavilion, since I'm getting cultural pressure from sunspear from it's 3rd ring.
Mandala
Gonna upgrade the axe to a mace and the archer to an LB and try to run enough culture to start taking tiles back. eastway has really upped his military, so I'm going to need the defense.

yeah, I'm losing 5 tiles around breakage - the banana, the tile east, the tile s, and two tiles on the eastern edge. Getting the banana back will be tough, particularly with eastway coming back in a few turns (I presume).

I didn't post last night when I played, so I will now, which will also confuse C-H who will think I have just played...
TT did not, in fact, artist bomb his city. I don't understand why, but I'm not really complaining. The more turns he doesn't, the more cutlure I'll have in breakage and the more likely it will be that I can hold/take back tiles.
I founded two more cities, the names of which I don't remember. Costs go way up. I have two more sites I want to settle, maybe 3 and then it's infra structure.

TT decided to kick off a GA, not bomb his city. That helps me a lot - thanks, TT.
I had made the clever move to offer OB to eastway last turn, to see whether he meant me harm (his power went way up in his GA), assuming that if he took it, he clearly meant no harm (and I could scout him, anyway).
He did not take it, so I'm guessing he's coming after his city, which I'm reinforcing, though maybe not fast enough.
I should have at least 3 LB, 4 cho-ko-nu, 1 mace and a bunch of HA there, plus I'm back in police state for 5 turns of military build up, plus I'm driving on theo and engineering. Plus a 40% defense - god love the pavillion. That may or may not be enough to handle what he'll send at me - it partly depends on if he has engineering or not. Trebs will make a mess of my defense and with engineering, he can hit me from far enough away that I can't see it coming.
He's got a big army - but then, he's also at war with C-H and TT is always lurking around, too. Plus, my power rating is going up as I upgrade units - many of which won't be of use, but he can't see that easily.

C-H and eastway - eastway took two cities along the way (which I probably should have noticed last turn). I think that eastway isn't about to come down and kill Mandala, since I presume he's spent a lot of troops taking out praetorians.
In any case, I'm building up defenses - I decided I needed a spy to see what was happening in eastways land, so I am 1 turning alphabet. I think I'm going to find that I am behind, which is upsetting, but then, eastway ran a 12 turn GA on me.
Also, TT built the wall, which means he'll get 3x GG points when he gets invaded. That makes him tough militarily.
My Mandala defense:
new cities from a couple of turns ago:
I'll post a full-empire shot next turn.

Quick update, more later:
Treaty ended, eastway did not attack. I got alpha and I'm down a few compared to eastway, which isn't surprising. Making a spy to see if he's about to attack me, plus researching construction to see if anyone has engineering.
TT built the great library. Better him than Cheater-hater, I must say.

Seems you guys have a rather vague rule "no active espionage". Do you think any of the players believes this to include a ban on spies?
