[spoilers] The what goes where?

Cambridge to support brown to support dark blue, is quite aggressive. Nice if it works out.

True on both counts.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Pretty much the same as you fora lot for the western and southern part.

I think a push to the gems north is not likely to succeed. Its pretty much Q's first ring.

Cambridge (light blue) is a nice city. Dark blue can even go 1S if Q is pushing too much.
Not knowing how Q's east looks like I bet he is going for the two rivers west and south for his 2nd and 3rd city. That riverside corn & gems & fish location is very juicy but rather a passive 2nd city placement. He could go to the southern river instead. Instant trade routes via the river & lake, potentially even reaching as far south as the Ivory.

Thx mh. Looks very similar to the first one I posted. What do they say ... plans always change when the enemy is engaged or something like that.

So - Cambridge as indicated by the sign (quicker to get the settler to, corn automatically irrigated once we have the required tech) and then work from there.

Scout moved to find some silver. The land to my south is cold but has some reasonable resources.

All aspects of The Plan on track.

Pretty much the same as above.

One. Step. Closer.

And this guy seems to be stuck. He has been on that tile for a few turns.

I am also doing a (very) little exploring with my first warrior (while he waits for the Cambridge settler to turn up). He found good news ... and bad news.
You can also see a Caledorn scout in the top of the picture (legs only).

Turn 30 - 2800BC: Part A

Remember last turn ...

Well - this is how it looks now. Suggestions?

Scout on forest hill will be +100 (animal), +75 (terrain) for 2.75 v 3.00. Or I can give him the Woodsman I promo for another +20% ... or 2.95 v 3.00. Anyone know the victory odds for these?

WB to the rescue.

The combat info on the right is for the unpromoted scout
... the info on the left is for the woodsman I promoted scout
[Image: pb18-00057.jpg]

That promo is pretty useful. What is that +20% animal combat?

Turn 30 - 2800BC: Part B

The biggest news in Boston this turn is that everyone took Patriots' Day off so that they could get use to the new slavery regime. In reporting terms, I finally revolted to Slavery - I wanted to wait until I had finished Mysticism. New tech is set to The Wheel.

I swapped Boston off its settler (I count 3 players now have their 2nd city), started Stonehenge and reconfigured the city to 12h per turn. Worker B finally finished its mine and put the hammers into limbo (I am in revolt).

The bear near the warrior moved directly west so I moved the warrior towards the hut. I need to check what that wolf is up to.

I am leaning towards putting Paul the Woodsman I Scout in harms way.

I will post a review of the impact on my civ of the Stonehenge attempt some time this week.
