Turn 34 - 2640 BC
I peaked. Couldn't help myself. Stonehenge remains up for grab ... so we are down to a coin flip. Paul got eaten by a wolf (probably the one that was stuck a few turns ago.
Worker finished the chop which moved Stonehenge to exactly 120h by EOT.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

I have to run out and do a dog transport but I just saw that the turn rolled and our score went from 61 to 79. That sounds like a WONDER!

Yipee! Well done. I had my secret doubts. Now, what do we do with it?

I had my doubts too.
Here is a question that I want answered at the end of the game ... how many people were planning to try for Stonehenge and how many people had invested hammers?

Re what to do with it. Firstly, post a picture ...
Then start to write a book about American culture ...
Then make sure that we have a flag handy to run up it ... just so everyone knows who completed it ...
... and ... finally, we really should do some research to see if this is true ...

As reported earlier, we lost our remaining scout - goodbye Paul. He survived a bear attack but was unable to handle the follow up wolf.

Here is the start and end of turn. I made a mistake with the worker ... he should have chopped the forest 1SE of Boston into Stonehenge and then moved to the forest he just chopped to put it into a worker. I'm abandoning that plan now. Boston is on a worker build that I will whip when I can. Worker B is heading to Cambridge to chop (and chop) out workers from Cambridge.
I moved the settler as shown because nothing can come out of the fog and hit the tile he is on. Warriors are being moved to provide coverage for the worker and settler. Cambridge should be incorporated on T36.
As I mentioned above, I have been looking at the economic cost of Stonehenge. This wonder cost me 1.2 workers. I want to get that worker back as fast as I can.
Speaking of cost ... I should look at the benefit. Boston went from a border pop in 16 turns to 3 turns. That has to be work something.
The wonder also pushed me to the top of the leader board. We should call the game because of rain (or something ... anything). Oh ... and Caledorn is running EPs against me.

Not much happened. Warriors moved to cover turn end locations of settler and worker, settler moved to Cambridge, Worker B chopped.
Just realized that I failed to report T34 and reported T35 as T34. I just retasked a post about as the T34 report

I am currently testing whipping the worker from the capital or just letting it complete normally. Once I have a worker at the capital, it can chop chop chop with hammers into a settler while the city grows (and builds a WB fleet). I'll have to see how long it takes to grow to size 5.
Meanwhile, Cambridge will probably just build workers (fueled by chops from Worker B) and stay at size 1 for ages. I'll have to see when I farm the wheat. At some point, it will chop out Settler #3.
Either way - lots of xls spreadsheet testing.

And Cambridge is settled ...
Worker B puts the 2nd chop into the forest ... now worth 20h into Cambridge instead of 8h into Boston. Meanwhile, Boston is still working on its worker.
The plan for Cambridge is to stay at Size 1 for another 14 turns. During that time, it will chop out 1 worker, most of another worker and put 5 turns into a warrior (3 food plus 4 x 5 food) to grow to size 2. At size 2, it will finish its 2nd worker and chop out a settler (due EOT T55).
Boston, on the other hand will whip its worker as soon as it can (back to size 1) and then build 2 x workboats (due EOT T46, due EOT T56), 2 x settlers (due EOT T48, due EOT T55) and then grow to size 4 by T60.
The tech plan is Wheel by EOT T40, Animal Husbandry by EOT T50 and Pottery by EOT T57. I expect that these dates will change as more cities come on lline and as I connect Cambridge / Boston by road.
I might swap out one of the settlers for another worker.

That's a lot of civilians lined up. What about protection? Is this one warrior out of Cambridge enough? Barbs are coming.
Where is the next settler headed?
