[spoilers] The what goes where?

Do you recall what the settler is at?

Next turn we get 2h overflow from WB, 10h from tile production, 20h from chop plus 1 food hammer.
That is 1 + (2+10+20)*1.6 = 1 + 51.2 ... or 52h

With the correct tiles last turn, it would have been 4h overflow instead of 2 for a total of 55h. I seem to remember that my settler finished with 101h (ie just). If my memory is correct, then my Boston settler will come up at 98h and will not finish as planned.

Settler is at 46h.

I moved off the corn (500) to forest spices (121) to get back those extra 2 hammer overflow. Settler now completes as scheduled but we are delayed growth in Boston - another turn of settler building would have delayed growth too. There should be some penalty from screwing up the micro.

Turn 55 - 1800 BC

I've met someone new - Boldly Going Nowhere. One of the leaders as you can see by the number of cities that he has ...

Q has 2 cities. This is why you cannot concentrate on score. Stonehenge (and wonders in the this game) seem way over-scored.

Anyway, 2 settlers finish over the next two turns (one this turn heading north, one next turn heading south). Each city will have one worker ... and lots of stuff to do.

In other news, Judaism fell last turn.

Finally - current situation of America ...

Turn 56 - 1760 BC

The roading worker near Boston went back NE 1 tile and roaded. This means that the warrior there can move into Lynn or Boston as required for defense. I will need another warrior.

The ex-chopping Boston worker moved to chop the grassland hill SE of Boston. The horse worker moved to chop a forest into Cambridge and the Cambridge ex-chopping worker moved to pasture the sheep.

Lynn will be founded next turn with WSP following the turn after. Pottery completes next turn (about time!) so I can start on the cottages.

BGN's unit is a scout. The warrior belongs to Q. Either way, I will have to be careful with workers on my border. It might be time to start to think about some defense.

Next tech after Pottery is Sailing.

Turn 57 - 1720 BC

Lynn settled. Starts on warrior. Pottery completed (Boston and Cambridge swap to Granary), tech set on sailing.

The first barb warrior appears ... but not where it can threaten me (see below).

Settler completed out of Cambridge - heading towards WSP - will be settled next turn.

My micro is running out. The balance of the game will be played by ear (ie more poorly than current).

Not much happened during T58 ... except I joined the 4 city civs. Wompatuck State Park settled down near the horses.

Turn 59 - 1640 BC

Two more forest chops came in this turn. One into Boston (Granary) and the other into Cambridge (Granary). Strike that last ... the tile being chopped belonged to Wompatuck State Park at the time of the chop ... so the 20h went into that city. It was swapped over to a Granary. But ... given the below ... I might swap it back to a warrior (Edit: Done). Seems a shame to spend it on a warrior.

The warrior defending WSP is my 4XP Woodie I. Another XP and it is Woodie II and I will send him out and about.

In other news ... Q settled his 3rd city over in my direction ...

... I just might have to start fielding some more powerful units (Spears, Axes, Chariots). Copper and Horses are in the process of being hooked up. The Q warrior shown has been on that tile for a number of turns. That said, I understand that Q is looking for a replacement. This might be the time to push hard on him and make a replacement redundant.

I have enough gold to complete Sailing and pick up Archery. After that, I will have to swap to binary research.

Turn 60 - 1600 BC

The barbarian threatening WSP moved in. I think having an extra unit there just in case the Barb beat my warrior (and trashed my horse city) was a good move. Another Barb is threatening Cambridge but is a few turns away ... I should be able to produce a Chariot out of Cambridge (whip) to take care of that. The Chariot might even force Q's warrior to move. The other option is Zone Defense with WSP's warrior.

The sheep pasture is finished - Lynn picks up the sheep while Cambridge stays on the unimproved cows frown but will grow to size 4 next turn.

I meant to mention that Boston was in the Top 5 (just) cities last turn ... not this turn. Speaking of Boston, Stonehenge was finished 1000 years ago and is now putting out 16cpt. All that does is screw with my head when it comes to the GNP demographic.

I was a bit surprised to see myself #8 in land. I guess that is what happens with your first city has zero overlap with your capital.

Here is the current Barb front ...

The horses and the copper will come on-line on T64. I might have to time some granary overflow smile.

One thing that I will have to remember is that a 2-pop whip only nets 50h in this mod (not the regular 60h). In BtS, you can put 4h into an axe, double whip it and you only need another 6h for another axe. In this mod, you will need another 16h.
