I have been meaning to ask ... when did players start to wag their fingers at the refs? If I was a ref and a player did that to me I am not sure if I would have enough yellow cards in my pocket.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Saurez should be charged with assault and jailed.

I mean Jesus Christ. And the earlier red card should have been a yellow. So Italy is down their best player while Uruguay should be down their best player. And such a desultory, painful match to watch. Every time I go into a game excited and with high expectations I ended up disappointed (see 2010 WC final for the worst example). The saving grace are games like Mexico/Brazil or Korea/Algeria where you don't necessarily expect much and are rewarded with magnificence.

I've being advocating a lifetime ban since the last bite (especially due to the fact that at the time he was only after swinging a fist at a Chilean player in a WC qualifier two weeks previously). We don't need him in the game.

Nah, that was a clear red card, he kicked through Arevalo Rios' knee. That kind of tackle has no place in any sport.

I wonder what the consensus here is, because even the two guys from Uruguay I was watching the game with thought it was a yellow. Now, the Italian guy thought it wasn't even a foul  .

Sport needs revamping. Until they bring in the same system as they have in Rugby Football will be a farce.
