If I edit the file it will change the numbers displayed, but won't a SUM civ still get 4bpt?
Don't I need to download another version of 10.1 to actually change the trait?

that was what parkin thought, and here is his test.

Just tested editing Summoner to +9000 beakers/turn and loading HidingKneel's save - display on mouseover changes, but actual in-game yield remains at +4 beakers/turn. Good to know anyway. smile

Apparently the game "remembers" what the values were when it was first started, and fixes those in concrete such that no-one can mess around with their version of the mod and secretly get massive bonuses.

So with your edited v10.1, if you load up the old save you'll find that you still get +4 beakers/city (even though it's not displayed in the trait mouseover).

If you load up the new save, you'll find that you get +0 beakers/city (regardless of whether it's displayed in the trait mouseover). Confirmed this by ending the first four turns and loading up QBob's new save - they do not get any beaker bonus. smile

Ok, so the new save file is the actual "fix" I got it, gonna play now.

Save sent to me is bugged (asks for Autoracher's password). Maybe delete old save files and replay the turn?

Hmm.. I overwrote the old save with new one. Guess that didn't work for some reason. I'll go and delete all the old saves and try to replay the turn and then send the turn to you.

Overriding never works. If the same name has been used for the game, all the old save files need to be deleted.

I now deleted all the old saves. Tried to replay turn but it says it's paused (cuz I played it before), means I can't really replay it... I had to manually save the game which I now have sent to HK. Does that work?

Oops. What I meant was, delete all of the save files that you yourself created (so that you don't try to overwrite them when ending the turn). You'll still need the save file that Yell0w/Whosit sent you, to replay the turn.

Alright. I have now been able to replay my turn (for some odd reason I was first unable to do a replay). Turn should be in your email box now HK.

Someone is holding the turn for quite long? No response here? I assumed we try to go with 1 turn/day (unless informed otherwise).
