Found a nicely placed Barb city. I killed one warrior with a chariot (now Sentry with 7XP) and killed the other two with the axe in the picture - the city played ball by growing to size 2 just when I was ready to kill the second warrior (new city is Weymouth). The boat that was going to be netting the fish (see above) is headed down there now.
Q has horses ...
... and a new city ...
And I have an axe barb that is playing silly buggers in the south. A chariot is heading over there to take care of it.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

Oh man, "losing" the island sucks.
Is it ok for me to log in and just take a look around?

@mh - sure thing. I will get back into turn by turn reports soon. BTW - I am away Aug 7-10 and Sept 4-17 and I will need coverage.

Turn 101 - 350 BC
New city down in the frozen south - it got the name 'World's End' because it is close to the World's End and there is a location near Boston called 'World's End' - who knew - I didn't.
Krill is now trying to steal both of the seafoods near Marblehead - guess I will have to put a few culture buildings in there. May as well try and make use of that food (while I have it).
I was mashing keys the other day and I managed to bring up this screen (see below). Anyone know which keys I managed to hit ... and in which order? I certainly don't.
Here is the situation / world map that I know about ...

I'm middle of the pack at the moment and the main reason for that is that I am don't have any strong players near by. BGN is on my continent ... but right at the other end past Q and Cale.

Sorry - missed your post. I guess I am lumping them into the weaker side of the larger group. With me.
Re - Cale is too far away at present ... but Q isn't. He is certainly a target that I am / will be looking at ... but I still have land expansion on my mind. That said ... my hammer / military cities are gearing up and some military techs are being thrown into the mix.

I like that leaderhead mashup, nicely done. It's awefully hard to lurkers (me at least) to keep track of who knows who, so that helps.
It'll be tough to hold that clam in a 1:1 culture battle on his first ring tile at God's end. But the 2nd clam, pushed by Just Desserts, you think he'll win that one too?

Turn 103 - 300 BC
Here is the situation in the south east - I am trying to set the borders between myself and Cale ... and, I guess, Q. The faded blue BFCs are already established cities. The green will be there next turn and the red on T107.
Question for the lurkers ... is this enough fog busting to get a trade route past that mountain?
