Uhm is this a replay or Oxy never played the turn to begin with? I think you have to either keep the city or raze it.

Okay I see, the "give it back" option is actually just from Jojo demanding the city in a trade which as you say is not legal. So really you have just the raze or keep options from the culture flip menu.

Didn't you say last time that the city couldn't flip to begin with? Correction on this actually. I believe the no city gifting rule also means that you cannot conquer a city and liberate it for a third party.

Surely you aren't seriously proposing lurkers force this game to end just so you have more material to read elsewhere? If you're desperate for entertainment, check out JoJo's inexplicable meltdown in this very forum, it's amazing .
I suspect 21 isn't getting a lot of love because: A: It's still fairly early in the game and not much is happening. B: Nobody is doing super-intensive Commodorian roleplaying, nor a Gaspar-styled bitch-and-wank fest. C: It's using a mod that many people may not be familiar with, which makes the game more difficult to follow than usual. Besides, my impression was that the problem with this game was that too few people were putting in much time or effort- killing it won't do much for forum engagement if the majority of players weren't particularly invested to begin with. Nothing wrong with this game ending, but that decision should arise organically from the players. Lurkers should only step in if most of the participants make their desire to quit the game clear, but for whatever reason are hesitant to broach the topic on their own in the tech thread.
Oh, not saying we should kill it...just saying it won't be tragic when the pace does kill it.

Turn 122
Now that he's secured 10 turns of peace with dazedroyalty, Furungy immediately turns around and takes a stab at The Black Sword again. Geez, remind me never to start next to this guy. Cheater Hater razes an apparently lightly defended city of Whosit's via Galley. AutomatedTeller recaptures his city from Yuri. The Krill-dtay standoff continues. Go post your intentionally misleading bullshit in someone else's thread. There was nothing misleading about what we said. We both said that the city on the other continent cannot generate culture on the iron. Which is completely true and remains true. We didn't say that it couldn't generate culture on the tile next to the iron, and we certainly didn't say that a city planted there would not be able to flip. And then he got a revolt in the city, which was a warning that it could flip. As it was intended by the game designers. And I specifically told him after that that the city was vulnerable to culture from the other continent, to which he said he was confused. Apparently after saying that he was confused by my statements, he went on to assume that his interpretation was correct, despite even receiving evidence in-game to the contrary. But whatever, let him keep thinking that he was somehow bamboozled into making one of the most laughable mistakes ever. This is probably the second culture flip ever on RB, and it is trivially easy to prevent in a situation like this, when he's not in a real war or anything. All he had to do was stuff a few more units into the city. Oh and one other thing while we're talking about tile culture - it would be stupid for Oxy to gift the city back even if it were allowed. He would give up all tile culture in the inner ring of the city, which means he would lose control over the clam.
