Too much to ask? No. Too much to receive? Yes! (It's the weekend!)

Hmm this is taking too long. Maybe REM (wait a minute isn't this a band?) is simming his start. Oh well I'm playing this pretty relaxed, gut feeling all the way!

Anyway, if Jowy doesn't take a CRE leader then I'll probably will. CRE is usefull in this crowed map.
Edit: actually it would be super funny if Jowy takes CRE/PHI. I swear I'll take Asoka if that happens.

Let me explain, after bismarck was taken I was thinking "Maybe I should take a PHI leader, CRE/PHI should be good" that is why I think would be funny if Jowy took Pericles. Everything I want to play is take it away!
Anyway I pick sumeria for the discount on CH, to be honest I don't really think it needs ORG to work but ORG is still one of my favorites traits.
I think SPI would be fun to play even if PHI is probably stronger. So Ramses, Asoka and maybe Ghandi are in my head right now.
Now if Jowy take a CRE leader that means I could have a shot to one of the 3 early religions which make Asoka more appealing.

Danm Jowy took pericles, which is actually a good leader for this setup.
I don't know what to do. I think I'm going to border at least another 3 people. If jowy is close to me he is going to be a PITA with his culture.
I think most people will get 7-8 cities peaceful. Early you need to get the most resources with the least cities, so CRE makes sense. But if I can snatch a religion Asoka would be really fun to play.
Another idea that I had at work was to take FDR. Cheap forges and faster National wonders will be good.
Wait, do I even need ORG?

So the pick end, lets see how I value this:
Jowy: Pericles of Egypt
Best pick. PHI probably the best trait paired with CRE a useful one. Egypt is okay the UB is pretty bad, the UU is good to deter agresion early.
Retep: Asoka of Sumer
Well this is actually better than would normally be. The other players when with realy weird picks. 1 EXP and 1CRE (maybe 1CHA) are the only things for early push economic wise, hence me going with a leader strong in the mid-game makes sense.
Being SPI also help with sumeria.
Cornflakes: Brennus of Ottomen
Brenus is okay I guess, CHA is pretty weak in BTS. SPI is good for this game. I'm hoping that Cornflakes go for Stonehedge and leave the religions alone.
REM: Bismarck of Byzantium
Bismarck is really good but BYz is just bad, bad enough that this is lower than Brenus. This smell like a oracle plan which is a terrible idea, don't fell for the trap REM!
Byz UU is good, the problem is that you need to pick Byz to get it.
Bob: Wang Kon of Mali
It is too late for BoB though, he is already traped. Is a lake map with high costs so you figure FIN would be good and yes FIN is good but PRO is terrible even worst than choosing Byz. Paired with Mali for his UU I guess, which is also a bad idea. Trying to get some synergy has hurt Bob here.
Cornfakes is probably the best player here, which is why I think is a good thing he didn't pick something better.
