Of course, I might have to build another settler if THH or Ichabod settle a third this turn as well. Barb invasion thresholds!

So here's two things:
Barb ran, no third cities elsewhere yet, but THH might plant now.
Copper!

That copper location is pretty freaking fantastic, actually. Cronk can say "screw growing" and just stagnate at size three for a bit making 12hpt base (copper mine, horse, plains hill mine). Might even return Stonehenge to the menu there; that's five turns to build, easily, maybe four with an extra chop.
Of course Pottery will be my next tech after Fishing. I've been given much riverland to compensate for my notably worse capital site.

I cant remember, is that where you thought it would pop? Hah, I wish I could say it was planned that perfectly, but no, I had no idea where it would pop up. My initial thought was in one of those two bare hills to the west of Knapford, but once I saw Pin's copper was forested I revised my estimate to just "somewhere in my BFC". It's just about in the perfect place, though...I'd hate to waste a potential riverside cottage tile on a mine, and Cronk can definitely use the bonus production. While Cronk borrows the sheep and grows, Knapford can use the forested copper to put an equivalent-yield tile into settler production.
I want to hurry out Tidmouth next, then once I get an extra FW or two more I'll throw down a city on the marble (Peel Godred or Kirk Machan, or maybe Culdee Fell?). Expand all the places!

So your plan is to play Joao with IMP settlers and fast moving (instead of fast building) workers? Not bad, especially if you land henge.
Since your hammer long and commerce shy, how about Oracle into math or something? (Not as crazy as it sounds with fast workers getting 50% more effective. And as always, Oracle gets a buff on small maps where a fire-and-forget culture weapon can hold a border until the medieval age.

I mean, I zoomed in on the site, and the game glitched and the tile looked like this:
Definitely planning on it if I can swing it. I mean, I had this brief insane vision of going Priesthood->Monarchy and bulbing Feudalism, but that's just daft. If I could manage Writing I'd think Code of Laws would make a better target, non? Makes the hammers unto commerce question moot, denies my rivals a religion, looks stylish as all hell...

Pfft. Oracle --> Guilds --> BLOOD! (I'm trying to rehab my status in the blood god's cult after a recent heretical statement in another game's thread).

Pindicator accepted a cease-fire, which is good. He's about to settle a pig/corn city that basically *must* get Henge/Oracle/religion to hold its own. Pretty sure that's going for one of those plains hills, at least.
Yo Ceil: Krill and I were right. Also good news, 2 more free commerce.
Here is the Kingdom of Sodor, circa 2200 BC (turn 30). We're the only civilization with three cities; our near neighbor France has only one. I think this is a pretty fine start.

LIES AND BLASPHEMY. XENU still has much to do to atone for his transgressions. Telling the crazed warmonger to bash more heads better is meager penance for his sins.
