{SPOILERS} 2metra, Dreylin & OT4E. This is the beginning of a wonderful friendship.

That's not just for the Axes we (don't) have now right, it applies to all the ones we build going forward...?

Any thoughts on Worker tasks? I just realised that with Hunting coming at end of turn, that we can now Pasture the Sheep if we want to. Probably that's the best thing for the second Worker to start on.

I know, and it is very nice event, so we might reconsider our focus on mounted unit. We can settle near the cooper and try to grab religion instead of AH.

About pasture on the sheep it doesnt give much. It is 3/2/2 against 1/4/1, I am not sure if it is the best investement. Chopping silk for something we can use soon is good idea. Chop another worker while building settler or chop both silks and make settler in this city too. About barracks I am not sure, but can be useful too. We could get some double wood axes from barbarians, but still need to know where are horses to control them...

So one Worker chop/farm the Silk while the other farms one of the FPs. We want the FP Farm online to grow the city, so if Alpha goes and chops while Beta starts the Farm, then once the chop is complete Alpha can double-up and help finish the farm, that should be close to when the Worker completes.

I think we should still grab AH next, but maybe we can afford to delay Pottery and make a run at Hindu/Juda. If we already have Horses within our borders, we could send the next Settler to the Stone and maybe make an early play for a Stone-based Wonder...?

We got a Forest growth at the Capital as well, the RNG favours us today!

What about going Myst-Masonry next (skip AH), planting the new City on the Stone and then chopping either Stonehenge or The Great Wall into it? I'll try and find some time to look at the micro, but my feeling is that Masonry should come it around the same time as we'd plant that city and we can have 3Workers in position to have pre-roaded and chopped to pop it out pretty fast. I'll try to spend some time looking at the micro for that tonight.

We are in about ~9 from Hinduism and ~20 turns from Mono. If we want to get religion we need to go for it right now and forget about AH for a while. Without sacrifices it is impossible I believe.

OK so I've built a sandbox up to the current turn, but it's late here and I can't be bothered to run the numbers. I'd make it available, but I don't know a site to upload to...

I'll look at running some scenarios tomorrow since the turn isn't going to roll tonight.

My understanding is that the most important stone wonder is pyramids, others are good but not really worth to change general path drastically. Building pyramids early is not really necessary because they are expensive and start working later, but usually it is impossible to build them without big sacrifices. We can try some "comfort" for us path with org religion, stone and many chops.

OK, so here's where we can be if we go Myst->Masonry next:

So we could start Stonehenge or Great Wall t46. We can put 3 chops into it on t50 for 90h, so for Stonehenge we'd just need to generate the other 30 (20 before multipliers) over 5t - 4h per turn. We could do this exactly in Samarkand by using the forests 7, 6-9, and 6-3. So that would be a t51 Stonehenge.

Alternatively we could try to land Hinduism on t47 with Myst->Poly and maybe send the Settler to the Copper spot instead of the Stone.

Early micro for Stonehenge plan is the same anyway:

Alpha moves 1 and chops Silk Forest, then 3 to finish Farm
Beta moves 2-2 and starts Farm
Gamma pops the same turn the Farm is finished & Alpha is free to move again.

I'm going to go in-game and make the moves, but will not end turn. Gavagai is the only one else left to play.

One reason to whip the Settler in 54 is that once we pass the Corn tile to the new city to accelerate its growth, we only have 4 improved tile to work. Additionally it gets the Settle out earlier and we can overflow into a 1t Warrior or straight into another Worker/Settler.

About whips I agree, we need to whip regularly.

About wonders I dont see much use of them to hurry with settling stone. We will be able to catch them later if they are not taken yet.
Our goals are:
1) grab primary map locations, place and protect front cities, create troubles for dtay
2) feed our people generously to slave more, to slave as often as possible
3) hook happy
4) start cottaging "bad" tiles
5) explore and settle coast

Why do I think we need religion? Religion will give us 25% bonus for buildings once we adopt organized religion. Religion will fix our problems with getting culture. 1 extra happy where we need.

Building SH in the cap is not smart. But I am sure we need to consider chopping it in one of the front cities.
