Other news; next turn, we're 2/2 for granaries! Also...2metra's got the Uber Axes event. That's for all future axes too, right?

AH next...

I think it is. I know from games I've played in that rivals who get those events seem to keep getting the free promotions on new units they build. At least on the trireme and archer events that I've seen. I'm guessing axes won't be different.

Okay, well, here's my current, notably myopic, thinking...

Pink may be a bridge too far but we'll be wanting Yellow ASAP. Grey is a fine backstop if Pink is too far south. Green ain't worth beans long-term but first-ring GRASSLAND PIGS AND SHEEP? Snowball ho. Need to punch a scouting party northward; I'm going to bet we find something to anchor us there that we'll want to prioritize.

Can confirm that the axe event promotes all current and future axes. I'm pretty sure that's the case with all promotion events. (Also I was close on a few of those dots!)

Actually, if my pink is a bridge to far, I like your grey/pink compromise; no hill, but fairly defensive flatland approaches, and gets corn/oasis first ring. yup

Micro is humming along very very nicely! Both workers wrapped up their respective tasks this turn; we now own another corn farm and one less forest.

The capital is growing fast, and that's going to be a lovely 82/60 into the granary this turn. We'll dump the excess into a warrior while growing, then finish the settler with a two-pop whip at size five. Pro whips; it's what we do.

Despite having four food sources we're only a bit above average for crop; Imperialistic Gawdzak actually founded his third city this turn. So it goes.

Gasp! May have to pay for your hosting service! wink

I was going to have the same problem a while back but when I got a new phone in May for some reason it came with a 50GB Dropbox offer for free. Sure, I'll take it.

What other services are people using these days? Image shack? I think Google Drive isn't as good as Dropbox for what we use it for but it's free, too. Not sure what else to suggest.

Oh no! I'd suggest deleting old files, but then you'd probably reduce old games to picture-less nightmares. The last thing I used before dropbox was photobucket, but I don't think that was ever a popular choice.

Yeah don't delete old pictures, you'll wreck your old threads.
