Mardoc kindly settled for us; like he said, no fish orphans, not too much worry about Dtay (after all, we can't lose two 97% odds battles back to back can we?). Pigs are already getting improved, chops are starting for yet another settler, the empire is looking warily at the northern invasion warrior. Feels like we're finally playing civ now, though!

Yes, no way could two high percentage battles be lost in a row. *Tempt fate*

How do you feel about the rate of expansion considering the terrain/other factors? I see several military builds so I'm guessing you want to make sure the whole house of cards isn't knocked down by a barbarian warrior's club. Have you decided if IW is going before or after Currency?

REM needs to gain some score. He's jamming up a nice rainbow effect on the bottom of the scoreboard. lol

So when do we have enough surplus units to send out a scout? Or are we going to keep scouting with our settlers?

The turn opens to barbarians invading. Fresh archer gets excellent odds...

...and barely beats the warrior. Ugh. Still, a win is a win, and C1 should make the next fight safer.

It's probably worth it, if I can figure out how to get the one billion turns of worker labor needed. The newest city is going to be a whipping fiend. Pigs already online, etc, etc.

Definitely settler scouting. Next two cities are on hills, even, that makes it super-easy, right?

No seriously, I'm sending down the next archer Fool Moon makes to scout/defend this area.

Huh. Is that a little early for a GLH? I always have a hard time remembering Wonder timings.

Little bit, although it's a pretty cheap wonder, particularly for Org with impi (barbs ought to be easy to control).

Yeah, so I'm definitely getting a "borderland" feeling here. I want. Plains incense is a precious metal, commerce-wise. Let's lock this area down ASAP.

Soooooo...who can tell me why this is baaad news? I noted it earlier.

Anyways. Dtay already has five cities, gotta gogogogo movemovemovemove down here. These two cities look good; no clue how hard the next wave further south would be to claim.

It just *looks* like a borderland.
