Uh, excuse me? I am very well aware that I am a fucking abrasive human being, but I sure as hell do not talk shit or laugh at people behind their backs where they can't see it nor respond to it. You won't find any of that in any of my threads here nor on the other site I play civ4 pitboss games.
So how is being an utter fucking prick somehow superior?
Because unlike the rest of y'all, I'm not pretending to be anything different.
Authenticity really isn't of any marked value in an internet forum, particularly when its hostile and divisive. It might win you internet tough guy points but speaking as a sometimes internet tough guy, I've yet to find any shop that will take them as currency. Mostly they just generate bad feelings. Far more bad feelings than the usual calling at someone's questionable moves in your spoiler thread which they can choose to read and get a little perturbed about 6 months later, in fact.
To each their own, though.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?

Completely disagree with the statement that more intelligent people are more likely to be arseholes. There are different kinds and aspects of intelligence and being intelligent includes being self-aware, creative, understanding, being emotional intelligent, etc.

I have the same. But mine seems to come up with "Miserable Bastard" every day. Is it broken?
No, I think the region settings just detect your country of residence. :|

If I knew what I do now, I wouldn't have joined RB in this game. This was effectively Sullla playing, with a couple of other providing demos information and diplomacy. Differing opinions were ignored or even mocked, there was an unhealthy preoccupation with what CFC was doing, and the effects of our actions on how other teams would react weren't even considered. Eventually, everyone but the core handful of players was alienated and there was no one left to give any sort of time or effort to the game when those players quit.

I did. (Everyone can see where it says who edited it, right? I don't want to be secretly screwing up someone's thread.)

Oh, I assumed that the title wasn't part of the post (It is; this also explains why if you delete the first post the entire thread is deleted.)

I don't see where it says who edited it, but I've only done a cursory glance at the listing on the general forum page and noticed between posts where/when the title changed between posts #145 and 146. The change is actually much better and made me chuckle, being proof that at least one thing in this thread is self-aware and good-humored.

Joey, using "all" is perhaps not the best way to go about the tough guy talk. Everyone doesn't talk crap about opponents. "Some" or perhaps "many" would be more accurate maybe. But seriously, who really cares? If a person knows him or herself to be easily annoyed, reading up on commentary potentially about yourself by an opponent on the internet, where anonymity and the absence of consequences greatly increase the possibility, frequency, and severity of negativity and douchebaggery, after any period of time is probably counterproductive at best.
Anyway, I'm grateful for the flamewar. It's cold outside tonight and winter is coming.
Death to CFC!! And, while I'm at it, a healthy Effyouuu to reasoned debate and community warm fuzzies. Let's have a bloodbath of name calling to keep warm through the long, cold nights to come.

Ah, now I see where it says edited by Seven, right there in the title line on post #1. Would someone kindly flame me for my ignorance? Thanks!
